Dodge recovery when offensive its too overpowerd, U CANT actually hit him , and the joke is the 40 free damage after a dodge which is VERY EASY to do with that recovery
ALL in one highlander neeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeed changes too heavy damage if even he,s a slow char while running , easy feint of unblockable to kick to grab shouldnt be 50 50 ! i mean the GAME should not be about luck. And there shouldnt be a GARANTEE 40 damage after a kick which is not hard to dodge but since easyfeints close to garantee !i mean cent has his kick too but only a garantee light . AND his stamina, i dont seeee a highlander out of stamina anymore !! or not often.
After a 40 damage unblockable dat dodge back and staying in offensive and u cant do NOTHING becaus he can then dodge very easy after that thx to recovery and give u the next 40 damage without getting out of stamina very soon. He should NOT be godlike just becaus he,s in offensive stance.
Sorry to burst your bubble here, but Highlander is far from unbeatable even when they play primarily in offensive stance. Yes, it can be frustrating to hit them because of the fast dodge recovery. Yes, 40 damage off a kick or grab is quite a bit. BUT, think about how easy it is to bait that especially if you play someone with a dodge attack.
I play Highlander myself, a lot. I generally don't play the offensive stance game because of how risky it is. You can't block, so dodging is your only option. Cue characters with undodgeable moves who dominate that playstyle. Play any fast character and you'll realize that those highlanders will stop sitting in offensive stance when they realize you can hit them faster than they can fully react. Some faster characters have light-light chains that are faster than the kick after dodge. It's really not that hard with those characters.
With slower ones, it's a lot more difficult, I'll admit. But that's part of this game - matchups. Highlander excels against other slow characters because of his unblockable mixups and heavy damage. Highlanders are not so good against assassins because the dodge attack (for the most part) negates the kick-grab combo entirely due to timings and invulnerability frames.
I'm not going to say you aren't correct that his dodge recovery is incredibly fast, but considering everything else he has or doesn't have compared to other characters, I personally feel like it's pretty balanced unless you're playing Highlander v. Highlander (which is extremely reliant on offensive stance dodging, to the point of making any other playstyle obsolete in that matchup).
What WOULD be extremely unbalanced is if he could dodge and immediately Caber Toss with no delay. THAT would be unbalanced.
Yes, only if u can dodge attack ( which u cant dodge ) what if not? what u wanna do vs highlander as NO-assassin while offensive stance? I played Highlander to rep 6 by myself ,i know where his weakness is, but it has nothing to do with his dodge recovery ( 300 - 400 ms i think which is a joke for a 40 damage garantee )
and his stamina and damage with his uninterruptible and unblockables make him like easy killer in 4v4 most time . Play vs a rep 50 highlander , hf try to get him ! he will dodge all ur 500 ms light chains and give u something to eat for >40 damage . Naah its not balance .
Idk where u play my friend but on pc and high rep , if u play defensive stance with highlander, ur lights get parried, ur heavys get dodge and parried aswell, highlander is made for offensive !
