Sweet!
On a related technical note, they previously leaked information about the map loadouts and called it 'modifiers'. This update seems now reports the modifiers, but I can't retrieve the loadout information from the site anymore. :P
But AWESOME news that they're improving the Arcade website! Who knows, we may at some point be able to distinguish the different map copies based on the information on the website!![]()
I love the website and use it all the time BUT it needs updating further.
If I want to search for say MJ4 or MJ5 the list has to be minimum 5 characters but in game we can search for just MJ5
Same as my Username for the Xbox I am not allowed to have a "space" between Fallen Champ yet that is my XBL name.
If these can be ironed out the Arcade Website would be so much easier to use, as is I still like it and have lots of map builders added as favorites so can select their name and look at the maps made.
Wish we got a prompt / notification when someone makes a new map but guess I am greedy and want too much![]()
Use "MJ4 -" thats five characters, that's how I search. My issue is when I search for "hard" maps, have to use "hard " for it to work, but that may not be all maps because there might be no space. Does anyone know if tags work as search criteria? Say I search for "hardcore", would that show all maps with that tag?
Also, the notification is such a sweet idea FallenChamp, +1 on that.
Typing "MJ5 - " works, but lists only 40 out of at least 58 entries I know of:Originally Posted by apapoutsas Go to original post
And someone even made a map called "MJ4", which you can't search for on the site. Ironically, the creator calls himself "ERR0RN0TFOUND12"Spoiler: Show
So yeah it'd be great if maps could be searched with less characters.
Nope, it doesn't in the Search box. Perhaps at some point they'll introduce a dropdown filter. Searching by tags would be cool, even if it's just for the English terms.Originally Posted by apapoutsas Go to original post
I would build those features in my own maps site, but that one mostly only lists the non-workshop maps, no point publishing an incomplete site. Especially not when Ubisoft is actively developing their own platform!![]()
Cool, thanks for clarifying. They could make it so that search terms also count towards tags, that would be useful (easier than dropdowns I think). Anyhow, whatever of those two would be useful to find maps better.Originally Posted by Steve64b Go to original post
