Have on back and on sling weapons so they are put away more naturally.

I watched some of the gameplay demo from E3 and noticed that you'd have your secondary on your back on the right side and your specialist weapon on your back on the left side.

That's all find and dandy, but at points I noticed that when putting your primary away for what ever reason, your primary weapon would be put in the physical space your secondary is kept, and your secondary would just disappear. This for me is a very immersion breaking flaw.

Imo it's fine to keep the specialist weapon and secondary weapon on the back, but the primary weapon should be stored on the front with a sling like so

Also I don't know if it's planned or not. But I would love for the weapons stored on the back to not feel so static on the back. It looks like they're glued onto the backpack which also looks weird imo.

It is clear now why Fortnite (lol) holds such an attraction for some.

@OP, they are slowly migrating towards injecting realism into content for D2 so hopefully this will also garner consideration.

There is always a balance to what you would want as realism and game enjoyment. OP's suggestion is fine, but where do we stop? When if takes us a full minute to switch between a primary or secondary weapon?

I dont think it's a pleasant walk to carry a LMG on the side of your backpack (that somehow stays centered), so do we need to change that?

Like I said, I like OP's suggestion too, and I'm all up for a little more realism, but I can understand why g2k made his comment.

Stop when you have prevented two things attempting to take up the same space at the same time.

If everyone wants realism they are not going to be carrying 35 weapons, 5,000 rounds of ammo, and 70 different pieces of gear. Be able to run 100 miles without stopping. Honestly every character is not going to have a secondary weapon besides snipers. They will be limited to a rifle and pistol or a LMG and a pistol.

I do agree with you OP, it would be awesome. (This being a pet peeve of mine along with unsheathed swords, floating inches from your characters back. or the wrong weapons/ outfits appearing in cutscenes.)

Sadly i doubt they'll be able to do it, probably take a lot of extra programming. I also thing it's going to be a clipping nightmare, and you can probably imagine the howling if that were to be the case.

One thing I'd like to see, is the ability to remove gear/weapons from slots. I got 2 characters in TD1 that only have main weapon/pistol.
