I don't know too much about the mechanics of the faction war.
I believe that there is a coefficient to "balance" the fact of some factions have more members than others;
Do it consider the fact that some players dont plays the game anymore?
would be fair to remove from the factions (or disregard) the players that aren't active for the last 4 months.
However, would this contrast between the faction members be something to be "balanced"?
Numerical Advantage has always been an effective weapon in battles.
Also, what's the use of a faction with 1000 players who play on average 2 hours a day while another only has 700 players but that plays 4 hours a day?
I would raise this question for the devs to think about;
Now I would like to address another problem;
The game should give to players a reason to fight for what they love instead of fight for what they will probably get more awards.
My first faction was the samurai, but after a while I realized that it, for some reason, can't compete with the others.
But instead of get mad or work more hard I just changed to thea viking faction. I have friends who did the same and I'm pretty sure other players did the same.
The award involves flag symbols, item boxes and ornaments that can be used by any hero, no matter the faction.
If the award only involved prizes for the heroes of the winner faction I would certainly still be fighting for the samurai side.
IMO the prize should include things like random executions, taunts and/or effects but only for the heroes of the winner faction.
It is really unfair. Its like team A, B, C. There is no specific consequences for the heroes of the winning factions. People who want to win just join the team with most players. That's why i just dont care about this "faction" war. Currently 3 teams with random names would be the same thing
