So basically, I am new to this game. I wanna get good at playing Nobushi. But I got this struggle when the enemy is constantly using guardbreak on me and knock me over and over or whatever you call it.
I just can't find a way to beat my opponent once they got up close. Sorry for the terrible describing but hopefully some of you understand what I mean. You want to keep your distance as Nobushi, I get that. I just don't know how when they basically just run at me.
If anyone get what Im saying please help me. I've youtubed, I've been playing lots of 1v1s but I just can't seem find solutions on my own.
Thanks anyways in advance.
As much as I hate it, Nobushi is best played as a turtle. She is very vulnerable on offense, but she does have some tricks.Originally Posted by Kushyxd Go to original post
Hidden Stance is without a doubt one of the most powerful tools in the game, if not the most powerful. It can dodge practically anything and on top of it you can counter guard break, meaning Nobushi's defense is extremely good. To make it worse, if someone whiffs an attack they are likely going to eat one.
But hidden stance can also be used offensively by cancelling the first attack you throw out. Throw a top heavy, cancel it, throw another and you'll have a good chance of hitting because people are so used to just parrying every neutral attack Nobushi sends their way. Can do the same thing with lights, meaning that they have to guess whether or not you're going to launch an attack or pull it back.
Nobushi suffers against hyper armor in some regards, since a lot of her damage comes from poking people out of their attacks and hyper armor negates that.
She is one of the most difficult heroes in the game to play because she has only one guaranteed attack and it is not very easy to set that up.
Practice your hidden stance cancels, learn what hidden stance counters. These are your biggest and best tools.
