Raider:
I think raider needs the top heavy off of light parry, as many other characters have a 45 damage light punish, raider should have his back. Especially because he doesn’t get more that 28 damage off of a guard break. I also believe he should have his left heavy into zone out-of-stamina punish, because that was a large source of his damage against turtles and spammers.
Warlord:
Warlord stands as a weak hero in higher levels of play. He has slow attacks, only two combos, and his parry punish was severely nerfed. Warlord is all around one of the weakest heroes in the group, as his only redeeming quality is his out of stamina mixup
Aramusha:
On paper this hero looks fine and has all the right openers and punishes, but he just ends up being predictable and relatively weak against anyone who knows what they’re doing.
Lawbringer:
Oooooo do I have a problem or two with lawbringer. Actually it’s only 1, and it’s called “shove on block”. You can’t play against a lawbringer because they don’t have to try to play the game. On any block they press GB button and then get an unreactable 50/50. I play raider, who is relatively good against lawbringer’s 50/50 shove, and it still can beat raider. It takes no effort any you don’t have to parry anything, which I feel should be the focus of lawbringer. Anyways
Warden:
I’m pretty sure I heard something about a warden rework, which is good, but right now everyone complains about shoulder bash, but I think he’s too simple a character with too much of a cheese. Without SB warden is like a worse Warlord. Which should never be the case.
Berserker, Kensai, and Gladiator:
These three all fall under the same problem, which is that they can do too much. You can’t punish any of them because they all have crazy feints that will punish you for taking any risks in parrying anything. Playing against a character who you just have to sit back and watch as they melt you is no fun. They all need a slight nerf to be brought down from god tier.
Shugoki:
Poor, poor shugoki. He has one of the worst offenses in the entire game. The entire objective is to light into headbutt and then attempt to get a guard break or parry. Needs a buff to his attacking ability.
Shaman:
Shaman gets a lot of hate but the only thing I have a problem with is the unblockable into dodge or into guard break. Getting rid of one of the two would be fantastic
General:
I think all heavies should have similar guard break interrupt times (eg. raider can be guard broken up to almost 800 ms where aramusha can’t be guard broken even when out of stamina) I can’t think of any other major balance changes I would like to see, so thank you so much for putting so much effort into this game, and I hope you spend the time to read and consider what I’ve said.
