Sorry to hear you're encountering this issue. For connectivity troubleshooting, I'd recommend reaching out to https://support.ubi.com so our technical support team can investigate this problem.

Bro this happens to everyone, standard issue problem for most people in multiplayer, quickest fix I have found is unplugging device, holding down power to drain any remaining charge. then plug back in and start it up again.

do not DMZ your device!!! turning off the DMZ makes you a prime target for being hacked! open individual ports, not the whole dang floodgate!

I wouldn't recommend enabling DMZ, as you don't need it to achieve an open NAT Type. Plus, when DMZ is enabled, that presents a security concern.

In order to help you out with your problem, we need to know what kind of router and what ISP you are using. That's more important than anything else.

Putting a console in the DMZ is relatively safe, as it doesn't have an accessible operating system with file storage. Ubisoft support will recommend doing it if opening ports doesn't work. Never put your PC in it though!

You're not by chance using the Nighthawk M1 in wireless mode, provided by a Telco are you?

If so. There's not a way around the NAT issue. Not wirelessly (shouldn't actually prevent you MP'ing). You can hook it up wired, assign a static IP then either port forward (XBOX ports) or DMZ.
