Hello everyone. I was part of the Beta Test for the first Division. I did play a little bit more as new content was added. I would like to think I am familiar with the game. After seeing the Division 2 announcement, I had some hopes and concerns. I will start with my experience in Division 1 to help you understand

Every game has a rough start. It takes times to get things correct. However, the first couple months of Division 1 was a nightmare. I still remember it. One of the many memories I have is when crafting was so bad, you could craft something 5,000 times and not get what you want. Someone did the math on it. That is how we knew back then

The Division dev team did their best to get things fixed. It got better after a year or so. With all of the fixes, there was still things that needed fixing though. MG's were one of the worse weapons. It got fixed, then shotguns became worse. It was a back and forth thing
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
These two are one of the many things I can share from my experience of the Division. I could keep going but, I should get to the point. I have many hopes for the Division 2. I will start with the weapons. Don't get me wrong, some of the old weapons are good but, I think the weapons should fit the story, and keep the balance

Some examples I can give is the L86 LSW, AK-74, AK-74, M1A, M60, PX4 Storm, and so on

The L86 LSW was supposedly replaced by the L129A1. That may get replaced. The UK is considering the LSAT LMG/LSW last I saw

M60, M249, and other MG's are heavy. There is a reason the LMG/LSW program was started. The armies of the world needed something that would not tire out the soldiers as much, while still giving suppressive fire. So far, the M27 IAR, and the LSAT LMG seem to be the most active of the program. The M27 has a 60 round Polymer Drum Magazine in the works, while the LSAT is experimenting with the 6.5mm (100 rounds)

I was expecting to see the AK-101, AK-9, AK-12, or AK-15 at the very least

The M1A as a sniper does not make sense. The Barett MRAD, CheyTac Intervention, FN Ballista, SSG08, or others would of fit a lot better as Snipers. The Designated Marksmans, and Snipers should of been seperated

When that is completed, then adding the M39, M14 EBR, MK12, HK417, to go alongside the MK20, would help complete that grouping

The PX4 Storm pistol is not reliable at all. There is a reason the Police Forces, and Militaries of the world won't touch it. It is a personal defense weapon. Not a battle ready pistol. That is what the M9, 96A1, HK USP and others are good for
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Why am I saying to consider these weapons? Simple. Diversity, and to give each weapon a unique place in the Division world. I am not saying you have to go realistic but, using real life tactics, could give the game devs a sense of direction

Examples: A Designated Marksman Rifle is designed to engage at a range greater than infantry (assault rifles) but, less than a Sniper. So in Division balance, you could make the DMR's have a higher rate of fire than the Snipers. The damage would of course be lower. Either or should be doing more damage than the Assault Rifles

The M27 IAR, and LSAT LMG should be better for running in between cover, or "shoot and scoot". The M60 or other heavy MG's should have terrible accuracy on the move. Their purpose is to be a fixed turret basically
-------------------------------------------------------
With that covered, I will move on to the stats. In Division 1 everyone went Firepower and Stamina, or Stamina and Skill Power. There was not much of a variety when it came to this. Perhaps heavier armors could be put in to the game? If I remember things correctly, they were using concealable body armor. There is heavier armor than that in the real world. There is things like the Ranger Armor which weighs 30 pounds

Perhaps armor like the Ranger could be an outfit replacement? The balance could be reduced movement speed or something

This would make it so less stamina is needed due to higher defense levels. This opens the possibility of hybrid builds, or squad support type of builds (MG sitting behind cover)
-------------------------------------------------------
Crafting I feel was out of control at the start, and towards the end game. There was too many currencies, or materials involved. It would be nice to see it simplified, or better in Division 2

If weapons like the AK9, MK12, or others are added, I would like to see a Silencer/Suppressor already attached. Perhaps the DMR's, Sniper Rifles, and MG's could be the opposite of that by having a Compensator already attached. That would make the crafting a combo package
--------------------------------------------------------
Some of the weapon mods did not make sense. Silencer/Suppressor had reduced threat on it. Something like reduced recoil would of been better I think. It would not be as much as the Compensators though
-----------------------------------------
I will go ahead and stop there. In short my hopes for the Division 2 is to fix the things I was mentioning (and others). I would like to see more gun diversity in the top 10. I shouldn't be seeing 4 assault rifles in there. That is 1 too many (in comparison to the other guns)

I would also like to see guns that fit the story, and keep the balance

The crafting, and weapons mods could use a fix of some kind

That is the most I have. I hope I made sense
