I, as a honest player who invested cash in this product demand proof of how Ubisoft handles a cheating report with an attached video. Time and time again, for 3 years, we were being told how important our feedback, requests and desires were/are to the developers yet so far when it comes to cheating things didn't improved but got worse. Further more, for 3 years we were told how competent both BattleEye and Ubisoft Customer Service is on handling these cheating reports. Needles to say, BattleEye failed the test of protecting this game and since I didn't buy this game from BattleEye, it's time for Ubisoft to put their money where their mouth is.
Please provide here, to the customers you claim to value so much, detailed video evidence of how you handle a cheating report, from reception to conclusion. You can use one of the hundreds of requests you have in line (this week) evidently censoring the cheaters name. We, the "fans" would like a peek into these competent "investigations" of the video we submit, we'd like to see the awesome, caring, Ubisoft Customer Service Anti-Hack Squad in action, the state of the art tools they use to carefully analyze our videos, we'd like to see you ninja scrolling and searching through the stored data of that gameplay and in the end, we'd like to know:
1. why, after 3 years and probably thousands of requests for user competent tools in tracking and reporting cheating, you pompously have the audacity to present us with A BUG REPORTING SITE? that's not the innovation you try so hard to present, that's a slap in the face. No one requested this and no one in his right mind will be using it when for the past 3 years all we submitted went to the trashcan.
2. why aren't any of the ultra state of the art tools you use to investigate our videos and claims, mainstreamed and included into the game?
Can the answer to the questions above be: BECAUSE AT BEST, IT"S ONE BORED DUDE LOOKING AND SAYING "NAH!, NOT ENOUGH EVIDENCE IN THIS SHORT CLIP" ? Prove me wrong Ubisoft and back up your claims with solid evidence not fancy empty words as you've done for the past 3 years.
Your lies and empty brags have been exposed, asking players to record their games was nothing but a way to divert attention, pretend you listen to your player base and hide behind your incompetence.
By the way, Congratulations! 3 years later this game it's a bucketful of bugs barely holding on and squeaking at all joints
Well Ubisoft, good news for you! As opposed to you, i keep my promises so as of this morning I'm back and forthing with a Kotaku editor about the whole situation here and trust me, it's about to get very interesting PR-wise. They'll even feature the youtubber who made the video above in the piece they're setting up and check this out, he's not the only one that did it. But it gets better:
Unknown to you, i'm a very well organized bastard so remember all those threads, post and videos you removed as "damage control" for the past year? Well, good old Mike here screencapped pretty much all of them because Mike has a strong nose for dirty cover-upsOh, should i add that Mike also kept a nice little record of all the blatant cheaters names that players reported time and time again, you know, the ones you quickly removed hiding behind the "No cheaters shaming" policy, and the time and date when they were reported? You'll be surprised (no you won't actually) how many of them, on a short player tag search, are still playing... Anyway, to sum the feedback i got so far "This is a big nice fluster cluck that's about to explode".
If any of the guys here want to chat with the K guys, just send them your stories and experiences with this brilliant game and its awesome, caring Customer Support (they'll feature quotes at least)
Here's a nice new hashtag for you #Ubi_rewards_cheating

OH wait I found him !!!
Nice sweater did u pay for it?
INdaA, flaming and directing your hate towards the devs or even the admins here is not a good way to proceed...they are not at fault and trust me, probably some of the devs are pretty passionate about the game they developed but they can't help or argue the direction and focus that comes from the upper hierarchy, in this case focusing on revenue generating content only instead of quality of life fixes and competent anti-cheating systems.
Your right Mike .
But im so fed up . I cant even have 1 decent game anymore without glitches hacks lagg smurfs etc......
Not asking for alot . I just want a clean honest game with no bugs.
I'm not the best players by a long stretch but I know i'm alot better than mosty hackers out there without there hacks.
Very VERY frustrating playing this game. I tried a few matches in the morning thinking the hackers will be hung over and sleeping but naaaah they work 24/7 unlike ubi!\
This once GREAT game has become a joke and ubi couldnt care less.
Guess I'll take stamp collecting to spend my free time
I really, really hope this will work out and they will start caring about in-game quality, and not only selling numbers.Originally Posted by Mike_the_Brave Go to original post
I feel you INdaA and i understand feeling the need to associate a face to the injustice and downright mockery that you, me and any other honest player has been through...but it ain't the devs nor the admins here and i'm glad you realize that. I worked with both of these types of guys and belittling them, their work and their efforts is unjustified. It's corporate greed we're fighting here and i can't imagine how downright disappointed the team behind Operation Outbreak must feel as that was probably the last free reign they got in adding something innovative to Siege. i loved the Outbreak event, yes it was completely opposite of anything Siege-esque or Clancy-esque but it was competently made, well designed and showed a lot of imagination. Was talking to one of my contacts today and he put it bluntly:
"What you're experiencing today is Op Outbreak aftermath. The event failed to even make back its development costs so the game direction switched to "more for less mode". A game like Siege, with its "game as a service" formula must be self-sufficient post lunch and Siege proved time and time again, it can't hold that floating level value. At the moment, Siege lives and dies based on its popularity which it should capitalize to the maximum and active players numbers is a must, no matter if 70% of them are cheaters or fake accounts. Siege switched from "crowd pleasing" to "crowd gathering" but the tactics and methods used are downright appalling"
