One of my favorite things to do in Division 1 is to pass by groups of enemies unnoticed as if I'm a lone survivor and engagement could mean instant death (it doesn't, I massacre everyone :P).
But sometimes I get seen when I shouldn't especially at night or in storms when I cannot see my enemy but they can clearly see me. Could we get some improved stealth mechanics for us stealth masochists please?

I had an idea...It's not technically "Stealth" but it is closely related. If undetected by enemies, the initial shot fired (if hit) does bonus damage. This would promote better use of cover and sneaking to get that extra damage or pick off a pesky sniper.
Maybe, if out of detection for X seconds, this bonus reapplies? Would be great for the Sniper (Overwatch) player(s). (e.g. - flank, stay out of sight for X seconds then get that extra damage again.)
Don't mind but it wouldn't be possible in PvP.
People are already currently upset about being "ganked" when someone strolls right in and obviously toggles rogue on them.
Could you imagine truly being ganked from stealth?
PvE you can do whatever because you don't have to make it fair for anyone. They're just bots.
