Suggestion: Maybe we should have choice to download the campaign or not ?

hey guys first, i'm just a guy who just got starter edition for free, i downloaded 10gb of the game noticed you could actually play it but only tutorial mode while the rest is locked , the game is 54GB and it takes a lot of my hard drive space, so i thought why not do the same for the multiplayer ? you can choose to play multiplayer only and not download the campaign part ( it'll be locked )and it'll takes less space, so you know where i'm coming from, just a freeloader who just want to play the multiplayer.

second , please don't go bat**** insane on me ( sorry for the language ) , be respectful and constructive , i just discussed my idea on For Honor discord and they really went insane on me , i'm not saying they should remove the campaign but allow us not to keep the campaign , you can still play the campaign if you want to , but people who don't will have option to remove it , it doesn't affect anyone or harm anything , the campaign is still there .

third , if ubisoft mod - admin happens to read this , please give me your thought about it , why not ? is it because of technical issue and it's a pain to do that ?
    thanks for reading .

I'd guess the reason it's only tutorial first is because it downloads core assets first. Player models and moves, textures, etc. Then it goes into downloading the map assets and all that, which starts with campaign, a way to learn to play the game. I like that it lets you play tutorial, but you're 100% right. Even adding a checkbox to decide whether you want campaign or multiplayer downloaded first would be helpful to newer players.

And regarding people freaking out on you, that's generally what the For Honor community/playerbase does. It's mostly a bunch of *******s that freak when anything is brought up, or people talk about changes that would limit how ******y they can play.

the assumption that everyone has a broadband internet is wrong here. Also both pvp and pve mostly use the same maps and textures, the pvp maps just have more ways blocked, but if you look closely, 90% of stuff is being used everytime.

How it goes with most games yeah, main assets and world designs are used throughout. Take a look at Battlefield, which most of the time has maps completely different from campaign modes, but they still use all the models and texturing. You would figure though, that if we did get an option to DL campaign later, that it would cut down the file size a fair bit since we're just getting the assets first rather than how they're assembled into a level.
