My issues come from multiplayer co-op and ghost war, and the Ubi team is well aware of the issues. It doesn't handle parties, mics, or any sort of co-op very well. People not showing up on maps, coms not working, de-sync, crashing, freezing, bugs all over. I think it only happens when you play with someone else though. On solo it seems fine but I mostly play with people so if you play solo mostly that would explain why you don't have issues. Everyone i've encountered on multiplayer experience the same issues. It could possibly be heat issuees which I'll look into but I find its more an issue with multiplayer. Like if you plug in a mic mid match, most of the time i have between 3-10 minutes until a crash, every time it happens within the match. Also if you have a mic plugged in a start your console, it won't pick it up. Also continuous NAT issues I have never encountered with any other game. Also if it was just from wear and tear, why do I not experience these same issues with any other game? the variable here is not the xbox but gr, if the issues persisted across titles maybe, but it doesnt.
I mostly played PvE in coop until I completed the game. I mainly play Ghost War these days but some PvE as a single player. I have had possibly 2 maybe 3 game crashes in over a year, but your issues sound like networking problems rather than physical issues with the console. Do you set your PvE session to invite only? I always do this as it stops unwanted players and honestly, hardly anyone I play with has the issues you're getting. I don't use the game chat either, I always use party chat. All of us also quit right out of the game before shutting down at night. If I leave the game running and turn off my console then pick up the next day the game will connect OK at first but then disconnnect 5 mins in. This happens every time and so I quit the game every time I finish.

NAT is most likely your network, possibly your ISP, but that is rare. Does your console report a different NAT than the game? Also are there any other consoles on the same home network? PM me if you want as this is off topic. I don't think there are any network issues I haven't suffered from at some time in the last 20 years.
