It's not dead yet, but it is on life support. And the Devs keep promising more is coming, but refuse to tell us anything beyond that. It's like a governor promising a stay of execution to a prisoner on death row, leaving them waiting for that phone call, all the way to the electric chair. Even if the call does eventually come, it won't matter once that switch was flipped.
What are you talking about? I posted up the steam stats in response to a claim there were only 2k players left. Where am I denying any "truth"Originally Posted by KingSpawn1979 Go to original post
Of course the PvE is fading, I've said I expected a finite game myself and it's 15 months old. Why do you constantly misinterpret what I say so you can twist it into something you can argue against, LoL? I could say the sky is blue and you'd argue that I'd said trees weren't green.
It took them over a year to implement nvg flipping and ai customization. Again I didnt say they never improved anything, it is simply my opinion that the changes to this game have been quite minor in comparison to the plethora of issues. The fact that I continually have to restart the game multiple times per day, 2 years after launch-and I know I'm not alone- is tough starting to get a little frustrating, and I have gone through all the fixes. It's not the xbox, its the game. Most of those fixes, while I appreciate, I see as either simple fixes or way overdue, especially the ****ing NVG's which should have been part of it at launch. I mean If this is the timeline that we should expect for our fixes to be implemented. Again, my opinion that the development of this game has been lack luster. And I for one am done re-hashing old recommendations over and over again.

Why do you still sneak into every Criticism Thread to tell every Critic he is wrong? Lawl?Originally Posted by AI BLUEFOX Go to original post
I mean, what's so hard in taking off your Ubivision Goggles? Try it, you'd be surprised about the real world...
Your "you all twist what I say" Scheme got boring many Months ago, in Fact YOU are the one twisting, cause I didn't say anything against your or Ubisoft, I just stated that PvE is dead. Period. I didn't rate that Fact, nor did I say a single bad Word about that Fact.
I can't believe I still have to do that futile Discussion with you after more than one fckng Year.
More depth at the tradeoff of totally bastardizing the series, which used to be based on reliving other people's lives using their memories traced through DNA. If they turn it into something where you can alter those memories, and change the decisions of those whom bore them, then you in turn change history. At that point you're playing Remember Me, not AC. And the worst part is this "depth" isn't even as deep as what they did in Syndicate. In Syndicate Evie and Jacob had separate dialog, fighting styles, and personalities. In Odyssey Alex and Kassy share the same dialog and abilities. Basically two people sharing same memories, another aspect that makes no sense. Odyssey in reality is just a pseudo, window dressing RPG that checks basic boxes, but ignores the most important one, cohesiveness of the series theme. AC is not really AC anymore.Originally Posted by Kane_sg Go to original post
Anyway, on the topic of GRW, I've almost finished all the regular missions on my Tier Level 1 play through, just Media Luna to go, then the missions for Sandoval and all the Buchons, then I'll probably just shelve the game. Even though I agree with you on how absurd Narco Road was, I don't think it's fair to use only that as a reference point for the game. I have much better memories than that of the game, and many hours to go along with them.
I don't agree with you on every point and we've gotten into it before, but nonetheless, massive respect for that tier 1 sh!t, knowing the grind that it requires, the issues with tier 1(my opinion lets not get into now) and the creativity needed to keep playing a game that long. I think you have stretched this game to it's limits, hats off.
I think it's just the fact that despite of the support, most if not every single one of them has been puff. I said this in another thread probably. It's like a big bag of chips; 60% is air.
To look from the beginning,
- They had 2 play tests.
- They were so eager for feedback.
- Then followed by full game that can be said that is really minimalistic in content.
- Feedbacks gained was pretty much "no", a few comes out a year later without any context in a very stale state of the game
- They sent out most Bug fixes on something that pretty minor
- Meanwhile they broke something (vehicle support) and things like falling into water while diving still kills you as if it was hard surface still exist
- Advertise big (I don't mean 'hype' here), but comes out small, turns impotent very soon (Season Challenge, Tier One, so-called 'mission' like Predator and SC)
- Paywall to get your more meaningful themed contents
- Overpriced items
- Above all suggestion rejected because "too much work around", Loot Crate system gets embedded in the game complete with its interactive User Interface that comes with sound and animation.
So there you go.
