its fine, u take this away and he has no mind games at all. u do kinda have to read what hes doing and if your really losing the bash everytime your clearly not changing your tactics and letting him just bash u over and over. i assume your newer to the game? but dont remove that, wardens already on the lower end of classes. maybe low middle.

Aside from Valk, is there anybody lower than Warden?

not really, i wasn't saying warden was super good. and i don't think the bash should be nerved at all. he's prob in the bottom 3-5

Yes, multiple infact. In general Aramusha and Shugoki. Warden ranks pretty decently high in duels since he has decent OOS pressure, but otherwise ranks far lower than those same characters in 4s outside of his unique and powerful feats.

Gladiator and Valk are the lowest Characters concerning Winrate in Duel and Dominion (for Dominion Shugoki is bottom, too). On the tier-lists of progamers Glad is not that low, but Winrate tells another story...

Warden SB from neutral is free damage for you: just throw out a Light. Shoulderbash is a 700ms move, every 500ms Light will beat it and almost every Character has one. Raider can dodge-counter-guardbreak, Shugo has his Hyperarmor. The only ones having "real" issues are Nobushi and Highlander, but Nobushi can keep him at range and Highlander is pretty strong right now - he can go into offensive form before the Warden comes close and gg.

After a Light hit the Shoulderbash is guaranteed, but it does only mediocre Damage (24 double Light). So if you got hit by a Light and you are not sure if you can read or react fast enough: take the Bash and don't try to dodge. A GB will end in 25 Damage (heavy side), a wall splat for 40 Damage (top heavy) or Ledge Death. So taking the double Light is always the best option.

no you cannot. False information. You're still living in early 2017 aren't you?
Unless you guys are so dodge-happy that you panic dodge to even the most subtle movement there is not enough time to cancel the bash atm or go for a guardbreak instead of letting it go. Warden has to clearly commit to his choice and he has to make his choice preamptively. He also cannot shoulderbash 6 times. It's more likely 3 times max before running oos himself.

To the OP; oh boy, you sure are going to freak out when you hear this, but word is that Warden's SB will become even faster because even the devs acknowledge that it is seriously lacking in the new meta...

actually its easy to dodge yes.. but if they decide to GB you then u can't dodge it. so the people saying dodge it its so easy are kinda dumb. u really have to guess what there doing. not my favorite type of mechanic and a few heroes have these. i wish ubi would do away with moves like this that are really just a guess. they can even feint it to bait you. sounds easy to defend but vs good players who use the 3 options of the bash, its actually more of a read as to what u think there going to do. i wouldn't nerf this at this point because the warden would be total **** without it.
