Last week we had an awesome event, with reported sightings of the ferocious Manbearpig! We also gave away a few copies on our weekly developer livestream. Today, we just finished up our second 24 hour event, which let players collect Mystical rewards so that they can level up their Mystical decks. We hope to continue doing these sort of short 24 hour events in the future, so if you have feedback on them, leave a comment down below, or send us a message on Facebook or Twitter!
We’re currently preparing our next event, and putting it through testing. We’re also finishing testing for our next update, and we’re now ready to release our patch notes, as it’s targeted for release sometime next week! More details below!
THIS WEEK
THERE’S A NEW SHERIFF IN TOWN
This week, we’ll be having a "Sheriff Cartman" themed team event that will be a card usage event - players will be able to gain points by using selected cards and winning matches with those cards in PvP.
This weekend’s event will run from Thursday (UTC) to Monday (UTC). The exact time will be announced with a post on our Twitter account prior to the event beginning.
As you collect points, you’ll be able to unlock various prize card packs. The reward tiers and point values can be found below.

DEVELOPER STREAM
This week, we’ll also be hanging out with all of you on our usual livestream with the same adjusted time as last week’s stream! Stop on by to see us run some event decks, using various combos and see how many points we can get in just a few hours! We might even partake in some Friendly Fights! Last week Steve and I ended up with a 1-1-1 (Win-Loss-Draw) record against each other, so maybe we’ll try to see who’s the best PHONE DESTROYER (*spoiler alert* it’s Toller).

This 'new' stream time is a test, if we see that this new time is appreciated and that all of YOU want us to continue streaming at this time, we'll stick with it. Otherwise, we'll return to our previous time-slot!
Tomorrow, Thursday, June 14th, we will have a server maintenance starting at 8 AM UTC and it is expected to last about 1 hour. This will add improvements to the team search feature, as well as some stability and performance improvements.
NEXT WEEK
UPDATE INCOMING
Next week we will be rolling out our next update. This will contain various bug fixes and improvements.
There were total of 167 Tasks / Bug fixes done for this update, here are some of the more visible ones highlighted
- Fixed an issue where some players were not able to see the visual contents of their legendary packs, after the legendary season reset.
- Fixed an issue where some players did not receive the correct amount of coins/PvP tickets in their legendary packs, after the legendary season reset.
- Pope Timmy will now handle swarm unit resurrection more consistently and has the ability to respawn an entire swarm.
For example, if a user spawns Rat Swarm and all 4 Rats are killed and then Pope Timmy is played, the entire Rat Swarm will be revived. However, if you play Pope Timmy when 1 or more Rats are still alive, the most recently killed character will be revived.- Fixed an issue where a player would lose LSR after seeing “Opponent has left the match”.
- Fixed an issue with the “Reconnect” button after a server maintenance has finished.
- Fixed issue where Space Warrior Token’s movement speed would remain in the sped up state if he was mind-controlled during his power activation
- Fixed an issue with some devices being unable to download new assets
- Fixed an issue where some projectiles would not be thrown from the correct location
- Fixed an issue where Grand wizard Cartman would (in rare instances) have visual issues after spawning
- Fixed an issue where some cards’ stats would change after being placed on the battlefield (Visitors and Gizmo Ike being a prime example)
- We’ve also added a “Nice outfit!” text bubbles during matches
- We made a few changes behind the scenes to matchmaking, in order to protect users from facing the same players repeatedly.
Note this may slightly increase matchmaking times. We will monitor the data and the feedback from all of you and make changes if needed!
We also made some changes to the way card cycling functions, which were mentioned in our last Developer Update
One interesting change coming is that card cycling will be being modified for all players. We have heard community feedback around card cycling, and after testing a few different ideas, we believe we have come up with a proper, simple solution. This will be game-changing, and emphasize strategy far more strongly. Rather than the more random current version of card cycling, now each unit which is killed will be placed at the “bottom” of your deck. In this way, card cycling will be far more predictable, and will allow players to build and revise their strategies around it.

Great update, thanks for the info! Is the DKC WarCry vs a Charged Zen Glitch fixed yet where no WC damage is given if the ZEN is using his charge when a DKC is using his WC and approaching\attacking? This glitched was identified on 4-14-18 and was told the glitch would be fixed in May, that is not the case and is still happening. Also with DKC has his targeting been fixed to where if he is summoned and is charging at an enemy if his WC does not kill the enemy, he stays locked on to that enemy? Currently if the unit survives his WC and other units are around him, he will switch to a different target.
Also Any information regarding Team vs Team battles or Team Leader boards?

I MindControlled a DKC and he now becomes a normal unit, he loses his Warcry when hit with MC and will just attack normally. Is this by design? Happened twice.Originally Posted by Hershalicious Go to original post

The new cards and outfits that were guaranteed were given as extras alongside the pack. So in purchasing that offer, you received the pack itself, and then the outfit pieces and card as a separate piece of the purchase. The card isn't found in the pack itself, but was slid silently into your deck without notification. Sorry for the confusion!
