A feature that wasn't advertised when us original buyers bought the game, and that we got for free, has now been repeated for new buyers who will have seen challenges like Predator as part of the game they were buying???

I never expected anything other than a finite game with finite DLCs. I never thought I'd be getting a constant stream of new content for nothing when one of the key selling points of the game was repeating the same missions. As it is we're getting 3 more PvE updates for free and we all got more than we thought we would; if you're now bored of repeating those missions that is understandable, but the game is 15 months old so getting bored was inevitable.

Aye, but there's a Difference between letting the Game slowly fade away as every Game, and spreading the magical Word of "Full Year 2 Support" throughout every Social Media over and over.

No doubt, this Game was well worth every Cent, I had countless Hours of Fun. Problem is that continued pretending of "something awesome to come", which causes exactly that Disappointment we now have once more. This is what bothers me. And many others.

What would be the Solution? Transparency! At least a small Amount. Something like "Guys, we will provide you with some small Themes like SC, but there's nothing big or essential to come. But we'll take over your Feedback to GRW2 and do it better next Time".
    That's naive Thinking, I know.

I might agree with you, IF those special missions weren't sill available even without the challenges being active. So the rewards could be added to the store, for those newer players that missed the challenges, just like they did for the season one rewards. But basically, since the weekly challenges were started approximately 60 weeks ago, the six special challenges have run for roughly 40+ weeks, of them. And most of the rewards outside of those special challenges, have been either Tier One boosters, or loot crates. That does sound like a dev team that has made PVE content a priority.

I honestly have come to the conclusion that Ubi does not plan on the same style of development for GRW as they have for the division or R6S, with the lack of content at e3, these absolutely absurd challenge re-boots, I think it is safe to say that they are not being allocated the funds necessary to develop the game like it needs to be. Maybe the higher ups decided it wasn't a title worth the investment, or maybe they don't see them competing with the amazing titles coming out later this year, either way I doubt we will see the drastic changes that could give GRW the lifespan and prestige it deserves. I think it's time for the community to temper their expectations about year 2, and really the development of the game overall. I should make clear: I do not think the community has been unreasonable at all as far as development requests, I am not putting the blame on the community for having unreasonable requests, I too have requested things frequently, rather we should be more receptive of the message I believe Ubi is alluding to which is: GRW will not be receiving the same post production attention/development as other Ubi games that have underwent. I know this is not the answer your looking for, and it sure as hell isnt the one I want to come to, but as I continue to play that is the only conclusion I am left with.

Isn't this the same ubi studio that is making beyond good and evil 2 right now? Weren't they the studio that almost killed the assassin creed franchise with the horrible optimization and state ofat release (btw i don't believe it ever got fixed , just abandoned) and this is the studio we hope will continue supporting wildlands. There is no way they plan on adding anything to this game except cosmetics to purchase. They are also asking us to fork over money for a year 2 pass which contains literally no new game-play, just **** you can buy and early access to a terribly thought out new class in pvp (repeating the thermal mistakes that they had to change because it ruined the game) and no info whatsoever about anything else. I honestly play this game more out of habit than anything else and I really hope a new decent 3rd person shooter comes out ( I've had my eye on scum but am apprehensive about early access) because the dev team on wildlands absolutely squandered all potential this game has. Any of the smart and well thought out community ideas will be in the next game (hell they already had a ton of stuff requested from this game in far cry 5) or in beyond good and evil 2 which I am sure will just be this same exact game just with a sci-fi makeover. The games are all blending together into a homogeneous open world that they expect you to pay upwards of 200$ on at least because the starting price is just the entrance fee, you want cool looking **** in the game you already own you need to pay more, what? earn through gameplay? naw, no-one wants to do that anymore, just buy it right away. Ubi games are money pits, I'm done buying them (and pretty much all big AAA publishers like EA, or activison) and like I said I'm only playing out of habit. I would absolutely love a single player open world game if it wasn't undermined by the unrepentant greed of these companies, it's annoying to play a game when you're constantly slapping greedy hands out of your pockets.

Hey y'all. The repeat of the Predator challenge may (or may not, we'll see.) be related to the anniversary of the 1st film release 31 yrs ago, on the 12th. Mortal Kombat X has a Predator challenge tier of its own going on now too, plus there's the new movie coming in September. It all looks to be related. For those of you who don't want to do it again, it'll be over soon enough. For newbies, upgrade your guns for hire all the way, and call them in during the actual battle. Upgrade your last chance skill too. It'll help. He's a one-hit killer. You'll need those extra chances. Drones and helicopters can't save you. Have fun!

Nice try with smoothing things over.
I can understand you don't know me yet (actually I didn't introduce myself, sorry about that!).
I will work with UbiKeeba in Ghost Recon Wildlands as new Community Manager. Zuzu is moving to another project!

As already mentioned, I made the devs aware of your concerns but I'm not here to do any damage control or promises.
What I'm doing is make you aware of what is happening right now and also let developers know you are indeed disappointed and concerned.

Unfortunately I have nothing to share with you at the moment, but again: I/we will share news with you guys as soon as possible.

I'm not here against you, I just would like you to express your concerns possibly avoiding any flaming.

Being disappointed and angry: that's completely fine, you care about Ghost Recon and this is important.
Just make sure to follow our Forum Rules, let's try to keep the discussion alive but constructive

I'm also the Starlink Community Manager, actually feel free to join us if you like!

I like wolves actually and as I said I'm not here against you or to make fool of you. I want to make sure you're aware of what's happening and again, as soon as I have more info to share with you guys, I will sure do!

Best phrase to describe the Year 2 so far tbh.

It's like buying a big bag of chips. When you open it, 60% of the bag puffs.
