I just watched the Full Reveal & Gameplay Presentation and I have to say I found it highly unrealistic from an interaction point of view.
So, there are two women that actually talk and guys that don't push themselves to the fore – UNREALISTIC.
What they talk about is immersive and adds to the game – UNREALISTIC. I have never had a game in Division where people talked like that.
In the Gameplay Presentation they asked for help and said thank you – UNREALISTIC.
A realistic gamplay presentation would be two guys jumping stupidly around each other saying “you suck, ***got” over and over again. We have enough youtube videos with hours and hours of this behaviour to make an honest gameplay trailer, don't we?
I would play the game if people were able to behave like in the trailer. But they don't. Although they like the interaction in the trailer better, which is why the trailer is made that way. But I guess at some point social ******ation kicks in.
Behaviour can be massively influenced by game design. I haven't seen a single social system in Division 2 that is supposed to facilitate positive teamplay. To advertise social behaviour that doesn't exist doesn't win me over. Crossbows and other gimmicks don't do the trick either.
