I hope the Division 2 dont have this small and anoying problem! Devs listem this!

The problem of turning corners in cover!

When you are in cover behind a car for example, and you want to turn the corner to go other side, the animation is not smooth and flowing. You have to press a button or keep the control in one direction. Anyway the character stops, then make the movement using an animation that cannot be stoped.

I would be great better if this movement was continuous, smoothly and you could stop at any point and revert!

I wish they could somehow get the cover and movement mechanics like games like The Last of Us.

The movement in that game is so fluid,it's hard to tell the difference between a cut scene and game play.

I know it's a little off topic but just look at the character movement and combat here...

    Game play starts at 3:35

I totaly agree with you mckrackin5324!

I dont consider that off topic because we are given suggestions to the Division!

More variety and more fluent combat movements can make the game better!

Another problem with the Division 1 movements is that you cant cancel current actions. Example: If you accidentally hit a button and make you character climb over a car you'll have to wait it finish to climb and then go down. Most modern game allow you to cancel current actions. In this situation you could just press control in floor direction and you character would stop climbing and drop!

If the Devs hear the community the game would become much better and much more enjoyable!

Yes, I agree too. Sometimes it costs health to wait till this corner arrow fills. I know that I can turn on "press Space to move around corners", but having continuous moving would be even more intuitive I think.
As for staying in cover safe (w/o peaking out of a corner, and therefore being an easy target), You could make the character to move back to cover on previous side, if we don't press A/D long enough to move around corner, or make the character to move a bit closer to a corner, if we stopped pressing button a bit earlier.
    Sorry for my English
