We've been playing on normal, so yeah, we should try it on realistic. We do want to be in multiplayer so whatever helps

I don't think it is becuase you are using a mic that you are being kicked but how you are using it. When we are a full five man squad we always invite the randoms with mics to join party. If they are annoying we boot them from the party but not the game and afterward we search for a different team mate. If they are mature and conduct themselves accordingly, even if they aren't the best at the game we will ask them if they want to squad up after the match is over and usually get added as friends. This is how I have nearly two dozen friends to play with at different times. Can always find at least another player whenever I get on. The hard part is on the weekends having three four man groups and choosing who to go with so people don't feel slighted. But in this game, that's a good problem to have.

Just get in there and get the time in. Pick a few operators with some always needed utility and watch some videos.

Id recommend macie jay, hes a great player with good game sense. Get_flanked also does some good footage on YouTube.

Most my best games are won with communication. 5 mics vs no mics is an easy win. Something as simple as callinout jager on second floor is valuable info. Its so easy to make moves when people call out locations. If I know last two are on objective defending when Im attacking, I know I dont have to worry about checking every corner with a drone.

Save drones. First instinct is to run the drone into objective and scan everyone. After you play enough you can tell what objective defenders are on just by footsteps and sounds in an area. I dont care what operators they have at first.

Get that drone to a spot prone to spawnpeaks, or where you plan on entering. Valuable intel with drones.

Anywbay, lots of rambling. Just watch some videos of those players I mentioned. See how they setup, react to intel, etc.

Game is all about angles, intel, communication and being in a more advantageous spot then your enemy.

Love to play with you guys but Im on PC.

According to R6DB, you've only played 48 mins of casual. I suggest you play casual until you can play ranked. Play ranked as much as you can this season and see where your rank settles on. You need to encounter the ranked maps a lot at this point and get some experience until the belt until any coaching becomes actually effective. Getting acclimated to the controls and environments is priority. For example, recognizing which walls are soft (penetrable) and which are hard is critical. There's lots of styles of surfaces and you need to know which ones you can interact with.

I actually was so confused during that casual match I didn't know if I was coming or going.
Aiming well is .my biggest issue though, hope to get that under control.

Well it is rare that veterans would stop to help new players, but it does help

As mentioned your aim should be ranked as casual is way too random as in siege you really do not have to be that good with gun skills, simple mind game's can win games

Firts priority you should focus is getting to know the maps, start with stairs, if you can find the stairs on a map, you can get better understanding of the general layout and you can build up you mind map (what room connects to where)
T-hunt is great for this, but it doesn't help you that much againts humans

    When defending
Dont but all of your eggs in one basket
Meaning don't place all of your gadget and reinforcement in 1 room
Try to hold the adjacent rooms also, this way you can always fall back to the objective room when the attacking starts to apply too much pressure

When attacking stay as group, 1 can drone, 1 watches the rear/flank and 1 pushes forward

In the end only way to get good with the game is by playing and slow but surely you will see improvement

Side note: I believe 3 man team is the optimal "casual" approach for siege, as with 3 man team you have enough impact to influence the outcome, without going in to too much of "tryhard" territory

Your post was great and gave me a new way to look at the game! The tactics with a three person team was very helpful. Generally when we play TH one is "shield guy" Montagne who pushes forward room to room, I'm normally Buck picking off terrorist from behind him and opening lines of sight and the other watches our rear and sometimes goes around to flank them if I can't get a clear angle.

I'm very sure it will be completely different against human players so we recently started not using Montagne unless it's a bomb situation and went from normal to hard difficulty. At first we were killed fairly quickly, but we actually won a couple so it is working

The intricacies of the game and the level of strategizing it takes when the human element is thrown in is both intimidating and exciting. I truly hope we can get good enough to at least play ranked, but I still want it to stay fun and not frustrating lol

    Thanks again for your insight!
