    Tier 1 and game difficulties

I know as you increase your Tier 1 level that different difficulties are locked out.

At what Tier 1 levels are the different difficulties locked out?

I think around Tier 30 is when you HAVE to play on Extreme.

In my opinion, though, I think that as you progress through Tier 1, your HUD should also gradually be removed, until you eventually reach Tier 1 and the entire HUD is completely disabled.

I believe it changes the difficulty to Extreme once you hit Tier 35 assuming you are not already playing on that difficulty.

Yea I think 45 locks Arcade, 40 locks Regular, 35 locks Hard and from then on leaving you only with Extreme.

The real annoyance you'll be facing if you want to go all the way to Tier Level 1, is the sheer amount of time grinding tier points to get there. That said, the Bad News assault rifle awarded for tier 5 is definitely worth it, and close enough to tier 1 to say wtf, might as well.

The big shame of grinding to Tier level 1 though is the only way you can actually play on that level is via mission replay.

    50-45 plays like normal
    45-40 locks out arcade mode
40-35 locks you into advanced mode(iirc, no more "heat blooms" on the radar telling you where opfor are)
35-1 "extreme mode".. no heat blooms, but you still have the HUD and minimap....but the enemies get alot harder
