    E3 Gameplay Hud

Watching the Gameplay i noticed some things and it posed couple of questions:

1-Armor Bar, does it add to the health, or is it a damage reduction moodle, and how does it heal? one of the players (Magen) refill its armor and health offscreen.

2-Signature skill, where did it go? the players in the gameplay are level 30, do you unlock the signature skill later ?

3-Group Hud, now its just a name, a number and 2 bars... in TD1 the group hud had the other group member skills shown... will it be added later ? will specialist have a different hud colour or shape or just an icon on the group hud?

The Gameplay was cool and all, but it made my curiosity go off the scale...

    1. It seems to function like a normal armor bar, It just doesn't regenerate while in combat unless you med kit. I welcome this change.

    2. My assumption is that signature skills have been replaced by the Specialization weapon.

    3. Julian said this was a post-alpha build, but we might see a UI change that accommodates more QoL features such as showing the skills of other party members.

Many fans requested the armour in TD1 to act more like a sort of second health bar. One of the aspects that destroyed our chances for actual cover-based shooting, was the presence of armour and damage mitigation. If it works as a second health bar, then perfect.

Signature skills were another aspect that hindered the overall balance, particularly in a group and in PvP. They might've been useful whilst playing solo, but it seems that the specialisations are taking over, and I think it's a good change.

I honestly don't have a problem with the increasingly simplified group-HUD. It actually looks nice.

In general, last night might've confirmed to me that the video revealed during Microsoft's conference, wasn't actual gameplay, but something much more scripted and probably CGI. Back in 2013-2015, it was exactly the same, simplified HUD with no mini-map even.

Yea I don't mind the HUD.
If you can customize it like in Div1 the I'll probably just make the area with the health and ammo a little smaller and a bit more transparent.

The Ultimate in Div1 seem more like magic than high tech/science.
I want to see this tech tree for the power weapons before I decide to like or dislike the power weapon choice as a super.

I'd like not having the radar and relying on situational awareness, visuals and audio ques to locate enemies.

Customizable hud would be great, if i can change what i see on the hud from colour to look to active symbols.
About the Armor bar, i expect it is just a damage reduction, maybe you are right, i seen that the armor bar reduce but not the health so it might be a second health bar.

Are we able to move the ammo count HUD element from the middle of the screen down lower where it's not obstructing the players view?
I was hoping we could in TD1 but sadly not, seems the perfect time to add this feature is in TD2
