Just got an e-mail informing me that I've been banned from play. Had no idea why. Catch this..........My son and family are visiting. Part of the family is my 13 year old grandson and a fanatic gamer. He plays on an x-box at home. I have let him play my games including The Division on my PC when he visits. He found my password for PayPal and went and bought a $15 cheat and has been using it on line for the past 2 days. I almost killed him. I am screwed. Have spent over 2 years and 1600 hours playing. I'm 73 and really suck at PvP but have really liked the game. Have appealed so hoping for the best. Moral of the story..........don't have grand kids.
A little harsh but it is definitely a tough one to believe.Originally Posted by s4mi32 Go to original post
I don't see an appeal working here. And it should not.
A cheat was purchased on your PC in your home with your money in your Paypal.
The cheat was installed on your PC in your home.
Your PC was used to cheat online.
If you win an appeal, the old "It was my brother" defense would be legit and they wouldn't be able to justify banning anyone.
LOL, your story is so unbelievable. Sounds like you should press charges against your grandson. I see theft and possibly federal computer charges.Originally Posted by DaMahn96 Go to original post
Sounds like you've already appealed. However, here is a reminder about banning and the forums: The forum and community teams are unable to assist with actions taken against game accounts. If you would like to appeal a game ban, we encourage you to contact our Support Team (http://support.ubi.com) as we cannot and will not address game account actions on the forum. Closing.
