I found the TD1 incursions like missions with a pretty boring mechanic attached to them, except Stolen Signal which is my favorite.
I like where mission design was going when Stolen Signal came out, the difficulty was good when it came out and the mechanics were kool compared to what we've seen previously.

I like the incursions. They each bring a unique dynamic that required some creative thought and planning to overcome ...when they first came out that is. Now that everyone knows how to do them, they're nothing special but when each one dropped, everyone had a hell of a time trying to figure them out.

There are only two things that I need to see to really solidify my pre-order:

    1. Matchmaking for the Raid(s)

    2. Better free roaming LZ activities.

    Raids in a co-op 4 player mp game...lul.

Yea, let’s add raids that will push away 75% of the playerbase in less than 6 months as there in no way in hell a casual to avid gamer is going to touch these raids.

Then, I can imagine the raid gear will be the best in the game, again separating the community and pushing away the solo or duo gamer.

You add 8 man raids yet you continue to have instanced, empty streets of NY or Washington where only you and your party exist. A boring, empty experience.

Don’t try to act like an MMO until you open up the entire game where at least 100 players can interact in the world and group-up on the fly in the world.

    Raids, 1% of players care.

    .
This is why they need matchmaking for them. It's the last thing I need to be confirmed before I decide to pre order. Plus, one of the devs just said you can play everything alone in The Division 2. If that statement rings true for Raids, then it's GG.

i agree the incursions were ok but not with bullet sponges AI need to be the same all the time no matter if we have a 1 player ore 4 players all the AI need to be the same easy to med kills normal health bars 1-2 max purple and 1 max gold boss and i hope there will be no copy and paste faction like in td1 last man battalion to the all incursions ore legendary runs

If the game were to have that many players wandering around wherever I went, that would definitely be a no-buy for me. I was playing Elder Scrolls Online the other day, and was reminded that that's what I hate about MMOs: I'm supposed to be having this serious conversation with an NPC, and I've got xXCaptainUnderpantsXx and ooOO420GamerOOoo and 50 of their friends jumping around the room, casting spells, doing emotes, and all sorts of other asinine things. Destroys the immersion.

If I want to group up and share my game with others, give us the matchmaking tools to let us do so. Otherwise, it's MY game, and I don't want to see anyone else.
