Can you make the vehicles more hefty? Rn they kinda just feel like Go-Carts with paper maché exteriors. Playing the game I drove a Unidad AMV in a chase on the road I bumped into a Unidad Dually and sent it flying like it was nothing. Vehicles sorely need to given some weight to them in a way that makes them feel real. I really like the weight of vehicles in GTAV, For reference. Also BF4 vehicles feel great as well.
Also the vehicles... all of them... every last one of them... take damage entirely too easily. I literally watched as a Unidad buggy with one guy firing his rifle at my AMV and sent it into black smoke after a few short seconds. Most of these military vehicles need to be small arms proof. ESPECIALLY Blackhawks and APC’s. I should NOT be taking them down a helicopter with a 9MM C1. Things like the Armored SUV should be pretty resistant however not impervious, no reason the Unidad SUV should take the same amount of damage as the white sedans that civvies drive around.
This brings me to my next point...
RPG-7V2’s and SMAW’s need to be added, to counter the newly heavily armor vehicles, we need bigger fire power. Now all this doesn’t make the player impervious if he/she gets into an APC, we need to have enemies who utilize their APC’s. We see Unidad and Santa Blanca bases everywhere that has an APC or two lying around, if the base goes under high alert, they need to be jumping into them to go meet the threat (in this case the player) so now the player has to deal with an enemy APC that can actually fire back. We saw these in Fallen Ghosts.
Things that would obviously kill heavy armor like this would include RPG’s, C4, AT Mines, etc.
Vehicles are great in this game but get little to no love by the devs. Let’s change this.
