🛈 Announcement
Greetings! The Division forums are now archived and accessible in read-only mode, please go to the new platform to discuss the game

We see the same cheaters time and again because they just buy another account. It takes so long with reporting and reviewing video to ban. If a proper anti cheat is implemented that bans within a hour or so it becomes too expensive for someone to keep buying and cheating.

E3 is over no mention of Shields which are dropping on Thursday. Don't leave anti cheat in TD2 unmentioned till after launch.

That is exactly my experience and feelings. They keep saying they listen and they learn from past mistakes, well the lack of anti-cheat was one of the biggest so I really hope they have it sorted and I hope they confirm soon.

Several people have raised this question on the Division 2 forum so far - the response from the developers is deafening!
The fact that their's been no response at all kind of tells you something doesn't it?
Let's see how long the beta's running before the cheats are back on PC
I really don't hold out much hope for this game if they're still relying on the same useless cheat detection
If the beta turns into a cheat fest I'm out

Over to you UBI -- Response ???????

It's way to early, but I understand why people want to know sooner then later.

Outside of shields maybe, I think we got all the info on TD2 that they planned to give us, during E3.

It can still be weeks/months before we even see another area, mission, darkzone, faction, PvP, Alpha, or whatever. My guess is that they're going to drop feed us with little bits of information to keep us engaged and hyped.

The only other thing we probably going to hear soon, is where we can pre-order.

That’s my personal pet peeve about the livestream yesterday.

They told us absolutely buggerall. And I do mean buggerall.

I mean, they could have delved into trivialities such as types of gear, slots etc etc, things that would not have spoilt anything with the necessary disclaimer of being a W.I.P. etc etc but no, nothing, except to play the same mission over and over and over again. Yes, it was fun for the first couple of times but it got old after a while.

As said, there is sooooo much they could have spoken about, even Shields as an a example, but absolutely nothing concrete. I felt like a toddler at Kindergarden class lol.

Please delve into something constructive and I dare say, meaty, for today’s presentations, please!

Its easy to speak...... the difficulty is in the listening. You may be a sensible fellow and adult enough to appreciate what WiP means but I think experience would show that its better to hold things back. Afterall these events always going to be limited. Remember the game is still in alpha. Maybe when it enters beta stage and they are ready to unleash it for ppl to really get their hands on then we will see alot more "concrete" things said. At the moment Id expect their still working through alot of things.

And then there is the languages barrier..... its okay if your grasp of English is great but if its not or youre reading listening to articles covering the event then things may get misrepresented and we dont really need false info.

Yes, I agree that 95% of things needs to be held back and all that.

I’m speaking about things that they specifically showed.

Take the armour/loot drops/drones/skills for example: Speak a little about them. Make small talk about them. It’s this late in the game that they can confirm whether the walls we saw were actually the walls of the DZ as opposed to p.u.s.s.y-footing (cat reference falling foul of filter) around the topic as if we were 12 year old adolescents reminiscing about things-that-should-never-ever-be-talked-about wink shrug wink........

There was just a underlying yet pervading sense of unprofessionalism about the entire thing which was a pity.

Toss on a 1-week, then 2-week, then 'Well, you're not changing so Gone Forever™' ban setup for proven crappy behavior in voice chat, and I'd be happy.
If you are talking about voice chat well that is something that is a 2 week ban on PSN. After that it is a 6 month and no one that I know of has gone past that. I believe it is account deletion and IP ban if they are stupid enough to get a third strike.

If you want instant lifetime ban post nudes on the forums using the console. The ban will happen in under 30 seconds.

It's a clip of Yannick talking about anti cheat.
Well there you go, I don't know how to embed it on the site, so maybe a moderator can do that for me?
