TD2 Anti-Cheat. GIVE US THE TRUTH before release this time.
Nothing you say or don't say will hinder or prevent paid providers. So don't close my thread because you think it will affect them. It won't. Automated Detection and bans are NECESSARY for TD2 PVP. 90% of all false positive reports are cheat users crying wolf.
It's no lie that Massive said on video prior to the release of The Division that we would have anti-cheat upon release. To this day we do not. Memory integrity checks are not anti-cheat. Don't close my thread because you don't like the down dirty truth or my unpleasantry towards being lied to and sold an inferior product.
We never got real anti-cheat for TD1 and all public hacks still work. Ubi has an unchanged and unremorseful (useless) support that relies solely on video and even then has a 10% chance to ban based on valid video of blatant hack use (teleporting, flying, aimbot, shooting through walls, RPM hack (not glitch), no recoil, no spread etc.) as many of us know we'd continue to see the same person(s) blatantly using hacks in game.
DO NOT CLOSE MY POST WITH SOME FAKE ANSWER. We never got anti-cheat. WILL WE HAVE ANTI CHEAT ON D2?
WILL WE HAVE REAL ANTI-CHEAT ON TD2? We were lied to and there should have been repercussion against Ubi. Maybe there was... 90% playerbase loss by month 3. But that didn't matter because they had already profited off of us.
I understand that to a company that this kind of thing matters not so long as they've sold the product they've got our money and accomplished their goal. There's nil a consumer can do about it. How are we as players/consumers supposed to trust Ubi when they didn't provide what was necessary for competitive play (anti-cheat)? Let alone they're pulling the same fake quality video trailer for TD2 which we all know from their TD3 trailer - FOOL ME ONCE SHAME ON YOU, FOOL ME TWICE SHAME ON ME.
I believe there is a 90% chance my thread will be closed because there has always been censorship on these boards when they do not want information divulged or a topic spoken of because they can't provide an honest answer with real value. Last year all reddit threads were closed/locked within minutes when asking if we would ever have anti-cheat for D1 after 2 years. No matter any answer Ubi/Massive provides it will never hinder paid hacks, only slow them which is a multi-million dollar business in itself with dozens of articles and customers to prove it. Detection and Punishment is absolutely necessary and should not be on the players shoulders to have to record proof and report every damn hack user. Ubi this is on you.
