    Getting Burned Out

    Burned? Burnt? F*ck. Whatever.

Look, this sh*t's getting stale. I stumbled on this dude's video concerning general gaming issues and, in many aspects, sums up GRW with a couple arguable points.

Oh yeah, and *rehashes bugs/glitches that have been explained multiple times yet continue to thrive.

    Just a bonus:

I understand your point, but after 6 min of watching that video, I don't feel it applies to what you are saying. He's mostly talking about casual game structure made for casual players, not a lack of polish. If anything GRW is the exact opposite of an "Easy game to get into". I would call it more of a game you spend lots of hours trying to master, than anything casual. Sure they left a lot of things unpolished, like the fact that you can't reliably toss grenades from cover, but casual it's not.

He also spent a lot of time using the Battlefield franchise as an example, referring to Hardline, and I completely agree which is why I avoided Hardline, but that video is now kinda outdated since EA has done pretty much a 360 with Battlefield. Battlefield V will have no pay to win microtrans, or even a Premium Pass. They are also totally revamping the health system and adding smart gameplay features that encourage people to work together.

You're always going to find players that have something to nit pick about though. Despite all the positive features BF V is bringing in, I see lots of people saying it's too unrealistic with women fighting, some even amputees, but they are stressing that they're part of a resistance force. Plus in reality there were a lot of women that fought in WWII, and many were very good snipers. I'm not saying EA have been great publishers, I'm just saying it looks to me like they're doing some good things to win trust back.

I'm hopeful that Ubi will take all input about GRW seriously and more carefully approach development of the next GR, but at the same time after seeing Far Cry fall to such disgrace with Far Cry 5, I'm forced to take a wish for the best attitude, because games like that make it clear they are struggling to understand what their long time fanbase wants. Unlike some, I do feel GRW brought in positive changes to GR, but FC5 is a step WAY backward.
