    No voice chat

    Voice chat isn't working properly.
I've tried re-setting the default communication device in sound , NOTHING. When I press the push to talk button the voice icon pops up on screen but no one can hear me and I can't hear anyone else.

Before the recent patch voice chat was working FINE.I've been playing R6S since release date with NO problems on VOIP.

    PLEASE FIX ASAP UBISOFT.

Communication is a HUGE factor in this game.

    Thanks

Try disabling other audio devices, worked for me.

Hi Incogni87! As Alves_J99 mentioned, please try disabling other devices, as well as overlays like Discord. You may also try verifying your files and reinstalling your game. If this does not work, please submit a ticket with your msinfo and dxdiag files so we can look into this further for you. Thanks!

I found that if you go into sound from control panel, on playback device select your headset or speakers to "Default Communication Device". This worked for me.

This has nothing to do with the game or your mic hardware,I suspect, but rather a new security update in Windows that added an extra mic security option to system wide microphones.

Press Windows button +S, write "microphone privacy settings", turn "Allow access on this device" (change button) to allow access and "Allow apps to use your microphone" setting ON. Done.
