The encounters are set up for four players,” says lead producer Ben Irving. “That’s where the fun is, and they’re built with that teamwork in mind.”
Don't know what's up will all the love for multiplayer games over the past years. That's not what's fun for me --> I will be staying clear.
I have no problem with games including co-op, in fact I enjoy it. But that being said, games shouldn't be co-op focused to the point where it makes it difficult or overly disadvantageous to play solo, as these days, probably 90-95% of my play time is spent solo.Originally Posted by Nutta. Anthem looks interesting, but there are (obviously) still a lot of unanswered questions. I'm in no rush, though. I don't buy any games new anymore. I've long since learned my lesson there. I give them 6 months to a year or more for them to get their issues sorted out, put all their cards on the table regarding content, then judging by reviews and player reactions, if it seems like something that interests me, I'll give it a go and it usually only winds up costing me somewhere in the neighborhood of 20-25 bucks, instead of the ridiculous 80-100 companies want to charge for their pre-orders and superhyperultramegalimited GOTY editions.
Anthem according to the game manager a level 1 can team up with a level 20 and still hold their own. The enemies will scale to the level 20 player. That means the scaling will be better than the divisions by far.
The end game is a lot better than what we play in this game. They plan on having events all the time and if it is like Mass Effect that will be a lot. The combat looks similar to ME:A which isn't a bad thing. Honestly it looks better than TD2 by miles.
So far haven't seen anything worth buying that's been shown at E3 this year, i'm hoping the saving grace is Bethesda and what they show especially the New Fallout game Fallout 76, if it's what people are saying/hinting it's single player but also Co-op with friends then (EA can shove anthem) and The division 2 won't be on my radar for the foreseeable future, and also hope Bethesda give us more info about Starfield.
I'm so far behind with games, I won't get to Anthem until it's free on the playstation store on PS5Originally Posted by Demiz3r Go to original post

Anthem's matchmaking systems were implied to be extensive, with something they called the 'Alliance system'.Originally Posted by Merphee Go to original post
And the system to incentivize better players to mentor noobs sounded good.
That suits me fine - I found The Division's matchmaking system to be pretty lackluster.
I'm sure I'll play both games, I might add.
