Looking at how terrible 4v4 game modes are since...well, the very beginning of the game. Revenge mode sucks entirely.
1. It apparently likes to show up LITTERALLY upon my death and i watxh that meter sit at the very tip while I'm figjting on my last legs and it never wants to go up any higher unless i party someone or get hit, but ooooh I died.
2. I think assassin classes have a weird bug where upon activation of revenge, some people break right through the parry animation and you end up getting constantly hit, making the effort pointless. And i already know about the "lock on stance change" thing so don't pull that excuse on me.
3. Some classes do not have the speed to even make 2 moves before losing all that extra health that revenge gives you. Highlander basically Relies on parries to even do anything, but even while he does, the start ups to his attacks are so slow that his *** is constatly being beaten to death by the warfare behind him.
The best way to buff revenge is literlly make revenge mode defense a real thing. make it exactly like season one where you took little chips of damage, acctually making you feel like a bad *** tank as you punish the unskilled gankers.
It's not so much that revenge is bad, it's actually still pretty good. The problem is you should be able to pop it the exact second you get it. Weather you're in a stun lock or not. If you're in Raiders' shoulder charge and he hits you against a wall or shinobis' gb stun lock, all of it.
Also the properties of stun lock should all be like the shamans'. Where if another person hits you while you're in it, it gets interrupted. The only exception to this would be Shugokis' demon embrace, but only while his super armor is up. If it's down then it gets interrupted as well.
