I know this probably isn't that big of an issue on pc, but on console orochi is just light attack hell. I used to main orochi then took a brake because I wasn't performing as well as I would have liked. I'm very glad he got reworked he's got some cool moves, but I don't want to play him now because it feels like there's an incentive to throw out light attacks until they're dead because they're hard to react to. I don't want to feel like I'm playing a noob hero. Then again it could be me I'm relatively new to the game. Anyone can relate or offer (constructive) criticism on how to play orochi with more skill. Thanks!
Orochi's on PC are easy to crush. Can't verify for console as I never played on console but I imagine the technical limitations make him a bit more annoying.
On PC its just block until you're ready to parry him, then punish him. He has no recourse against it and aside from his fast lights no way to bypass defense.
As a orochi main myself, I would want to know what you mean by light spam, I have heard on PS4 and Xbox it is nearly impossible to react to the light attacks but for pc I don't see it as a problem, I rarely use heavies as they are too slow to be openers if you think lights are broken on pc and it's bad and annoying to fight orochi as they 'light spam' then try and play as orochi before you complain and you will see as we have no unblockables or bashes we have to utilize light attacks.
