    Thank you for this information Procesor-CZ, I am happy to hear that closing MSI AFterburner helped resolve this issue for you.

    I have also experienced this myself when launching the DirectX version of the game from Steam and needed to force close the game through Task Manager.

    We now have an investigation into this issue and what may be causing it, I will make our QA team aware of this thread, thank you.

    I have none of the programs open except discord, which I do not use any overlay so it's not connected to my games at all, not to mention the issues happens even with discord not running, so it's certainly not it.

    We have been made aware of this by our players and we are currently working on a fix. For now please disable this program on your computer fully using Task Manager, thank you for your patience whilst we try to resolve this for everyone.

    Game won't exit fully

    After closing Siege, either by exiting through the menu or using alt+f4, the game still runs in the task background, preventing me from playing any other Steam or Ubisoft games.I have to manually close it off through task manager. I have also noticed that while running in the background, it still uses around 15% CPU and 1.5 GB ram. Is there any way to fix this?

    At the moment this is under investigation but we have no fix for this as of yet as it has only recently started affecting players. Please continue to close the game using Task Manager. Thank you for your patience.
