it happens to me this latest update, I just knew it because of Discord that it says i'm playing R6s even tho I'm playing other games and checked the task manager found RainbowSix.exe running but when I'm playing it is RainbowSix_Vulkan, maybe a Vulkan users bug?

i concur, the game does not quit, have to be force quitted. I once even saw a visual basic error w/o any text (just vb on top of an empty box...)

so this being the best 32gig update so far, when can we expect to have that drone trap vents fixed in border?

Cmon ubi at least gives us an answer that you're aware and is looking into it ffs, the silence on issues can sometimes be worse than the issues themselves

For me it closes if you alt tab out of the game then use the stop button on steam to close it instead of closing through the game.

Same here, After the last update, it keeps going after I close the game, using over 16% CPU, 47% memory and consuming high amounts of energy!

Hello everyone, thank you for bringing this to our attention since the last update.

I have noticed a few similar threads about this in Steam too in the last few hours.

Can any of you tell me if you have any of the following programs running in the background from this list? - https://support.ubisoft.com/en-GB/Article/000063761

If so, can you also disable these through Task Manager, only run the Siege game and the Steam/Epic/Ubisoft Connect launchers, then let me know if the game is still running on your computer, after exiting from the menu, so we can rule out any interference from other software? Thank you.

I have same problem. After close MSI Afterburner befor play and all is good.

EDIT:
For everything to be okay, I have to have MSI Afterburner + MSI Dragon Center + Nvidia Expirience + VIPER GAMING MOUSE closed
