[PC]Dominion matches stuck on loading screen | Forums

Hi all,

I re-picked up this game a month ago and I encounter this issue a few times. (US-E region)
Once a hero is selected and the timer ends, the game is in an endless loop of loading on that loading screen. I know this isn't isolated to only me, because I do notice other people leaving the match as well.

Sometimes while in a match and a bot is on a team, someone has tried to join that game to replace the bot, but that person types in chat and exclaims that he is stuck in the loading screen.

I know the game has updates often but I feel this should be a priority to fix.

I had this same problem as well, had to alt+F4 to close the game. Worse thing is, after that closure, I can never be able to complete another match-making anymore. Meaning cannot find any games even in Dominion, with very high activity.

This is still occurring I am on xbox one and it seems to happen to me every other match. I have to quit the game through xbox menu and reload the game

Is this only on dominion games for you or does it happen on all game modes?

The first thing I'd advise, if you haven't already, is clearing the consoles cache. This can be done through power-cycling the console, turning it off, unplugging it, waiting a minute, plugging it back in and turning it on again.

It mostly happens on dominion it does happen when I try other modes though. Thanks for the suggestion I will try that!

This is still an issue. Always on Dominion matches. Clearing cache BS does not work. You know its there, fix it. It now forces me to quit the game and restart it. As if this game doesn't frustrate me already.

Hi NGL_Apex! Welcome to the forums. Can you clarify where specifically freezes? There was an issue reported that some players get stuck on the "Face Off" screen specifically. This may be related to a hardware issue. Can you clarify you play FH on? How much space do you have on the drive the game is installed on?
