The flip side of that is rushing patches/fixes that break the game in unforeseeable ways. I'd rather they take their time and do it right.Originally Posted by Specialkha Go to original post

So? are they THAT incompetent? Especially while a lot of things that got patched are numbers tuned up or down.
Hey folks,
Great to see this discussion! As someone that's played a LOT of fighting games in the past, it's great to see the conversation around this topic, as you say For Honor is veeeery different to your standard fighter. The team are committed to constantly improving, and I feel like we've learnt a lot in our first year! Onwards and upwards!
One thing I did want to say regarding patches, is it can take time to develop and make patches, but that's because we want to provide the best quality we can. For Honor is a pretty complex game, and as with most fighting games, it can take a while to fully resolve an issue or balance a certain move/fighter. We do maintenance on a weekly basis in order to fix any urgent bugs or issues that we're aware of, it's just the larger problems and balancing that can take more time.
Best regards,
Jim.
Compared to other fighters which are more simplistic in nature you mean? Because if you compare them to say, an MMO, which is about as or maybe a little more complex, then that's on par.Originally Posted by Specialkha Go to original post
But here, again, we have the issue raised by the OP, if comparing this game and it's dev team to other titles. For honor is for honor. Not street fighter. And unless you are a designer for a AAA company, your opinion off how effectively and quickly they patch is null and void.
anyone with half a Brain can see how hard ubi are trying to make this game perfect and anyone with half a brain knows that these things take time. You can't just say yeah lets change the parrying system and implement it today, no you need to test it over and over again then you need to beta it and then it will be tested again and then we get it put in because changing a game mechanic is not like bug fixing, this is the first game like it for all platform and its taken a while but slowly its getting better and better.
Jim just explained why it takes long, patience is a virtue and good thing come to those who wait. why bring out a rushed patch only to have to bring a new patch a days later because the first patch wasn't done properly? And you shouldn't be comparing this game to any others because there isn't any others like it please name one. Also don't be so pessimistic, positivity is the way to a healthy gaming environment and for the community we see too much negativity on here so lets make this thread at least a positive one.Originally Posted by Specialkha Go to original post

because I have respect? maybe you should learn how to be civilised instead of acting like a spoiled child, "I didn't get the patch quick enough, so i'm going to cry" grow up. people wonder why FH is known for its cancerous community, because of attention seekers like this.Originally Posted by Specialkha Go to original post
