But if you think it’s so easy to make a low tech operator how about you spitball one right now.
Let me take his place and give you one simple idea:

Tachanka could be the only defender operator having his LMG carrying by his hands and firing it on the move with not a good accuracy - Tachanka LMG when mounted could break shield bullet proof glasses - this would make him Anti-Montagne.

Kapkan - back to 3 speed having 3 killing traps with no laser but a small redlight on the sensor. and infact it would have made IQ very useful.

Mute and Bandit could have NO visual or audible effect from their gadgets, as example you could not be able to see the electric visual effect on reinforced walls when it was shocked by bandit and only IQ could see this. This would increase the teamwork between players for breaching a simple garage. and infact it would have made IQ very useful.

Blackbeard instead of having a rifleshield which offers no teamwork could actually be the ONLY character having access to Claymore mines by carrying 3 of them. This could make him more NAVY SEAL than a stupid broken rifleshield which is made for K/D ratio collectors.

Hibana instead of that XFuturistic gadget could be the Medic for Attackers due to fast speed and rapid guns by having a healing shot gun like Doc.

Dokabei could be the only operator accessing defender cameras and when she was hacking one then the entire team could access them as they do now - no need to call operators during battle (SERIOUSLY JOKE DESIGN WITH CALLING)

Castle - Having 4 bulletproof barricades instead of 3 and fully resistance to anything but explosives and require two hits with Sledge hammer to be breached.

    Finka could be simply removed

    Lion could be simply remove

    Lesion could be simply removed

    Ella could be simply removed

    Zofia could be simply removed

    Additional changes to gadget system:

    - All secondary gadgets are available for all operators in loadout screen with the following changes for each:

    ATTACKERS:

Flashbangs reduced from 3 to 2

Smoke grenade reduced from 2 to 1

Breach charge reduced from 3 to 2

Grenade reduced from 2 to 1

About grenades - We already have a setup option which allows 6 grenades to be brought to the field by choosing 3 operators who have access to two grenades. In this case if all operators pick a grenade it will be 5 and keep in mind changing such loadouts based only on killing will reduce the chance of attacking team of breaching places.

    DEFENDERS:

Barbered wire 2 for all operators

Deploy-able shield 1 for all operators

    NitroCell 1 for all operators

Impact Grenade 2 for all operators

The Bullet proof cam 1 for all operators

This could challenge the player choice in bringing useful gadget for specific situations instead of relying on their power. There are many cases NitroCell is totally useless or Barbered wire is totally useless and remember we already have the setup option which allows all operators having 5 NitroCells or all 5 equipped with Impact Grenade so do not bring up lines like "IT WOULD BE OP IF ALL HAVE NITRO OR GRENADE"

There isn't very many games out there that allow you to "Pick" the map you only want to play. Maybe in Team Fortress but not in Siege, load times will increase, Certain maps will become virtually unplayable because 50% of the community will have their "favorite" map and devs will just waste time making maps no one wants to play because it's not the Norm. It would break matchmaking. It would break the game.

I think the problem here is people have played so much Call of Duty since 2007 that the whole multiplayer system and mechanics they have, have become the norm for people and they expect games that are out of the "norm" to change to the mainstream games..
BF2MC let the community pick maps. But end of that games life span. The community pretty much played same two maps daily. It got boring. Then EA shut the online servers off for it.
