Yes, I did, and if you had fully read both of my posts in this thread, I addressed that. My second post was merely to point out that most often than not, player who get banned, will deny they did anything wrong, even when faced with undeniable evidence, such as screenshots, or in the video I described. Cheating just happens to be the biggest reason for bans because it's easier to prove, and they only need one piece of evidence to act. Harassment on the other hand, without evidence, probably requires several complaints from different users, to prove that it wasn't just a misunderstanding, or a single player making false accusations.
For example, if you said that to someone else over chat, and it came off as a little snarky, they could take offense and report you for harassment. Should you be banned for that? Absolutely not. But if several players, over a period of time, keep reporting you, for similar offenses, they would likely send out a temporary ban. Now if the OP's "friend" was recorded, being over the top belligerent, or making racial slurs, they may have banned after a single incident.
