Hours of Darkness: Ubisoft blows it again!
Needless to say, Far Cry 5 has the most beautiful world ever created in the series, which only adds to the disillusionment of having so little to do with it. Physics and the absurd number of peggies aside, the most disappointing aspects of Far Cry 5 were undoubtedly the ridiculous arsenal Ubisoft provided (especially now that we can actually customize weapons) and the fact that there is hardly anything to do after beating the game.
Nonetheless, even after knowing full well that a good part of the fans criticism of Far Cry 5 is about the lack of gun variety, Ubisoft decided to do more than let us down. They literally spat on our faces! Hours of Darkness, a DLC that takes us to Vietnam, would have been the perfect opportunity to bring back the knife, the PK and Makarov, as well as some novelties, such as the M21, Ithaca 37, et cetera. But no, Ubisoft decide to launch a 10€/$+ Downloadle Content with a useless bamboo stick, an M16 that is nothing more than a re-skin of the AR-C (they didn't even change the sound), a re-skin of the M60 and a single new gun, the SVD, the only problem being that it isn't really a new gun... and yeah, they don't even have additional skins. I seriously wonder how this DLC could have been worse in the gun department!
Thank you very much indeed Ubisoft. Way to listen to the fans!
