so I was playing the game.. been playing for hours.. just paid almost 90$ on the gold edition, and I literally want my money back.. im serious.. end of.
i was playing and it kept acting like i was trying to sign out.. saying if you continue unsaved progress blah blah.. i would hit escape, it would go back to the game and then BOOM be back again on that screen.. finally it crashed after an error message to the main menu I tried to start the game and it said there was an error
i closed the game and loaded it back and knew instantly something was wrong cause it made me go through the beginning cut scene.. then the screen where normally i hit CONTINUE is NEW GAME
I still have the 42 silver bars I found in game.. but my save progress is literally GONE
and I do not want to start all over until i hear this is NOT happening again.. and if I can NOT get that response then ubisoft give me my money back I have played only 5 hours.. but thats enough to really anger me.. its not like this is launch day.. its been out for a while now

from what i have read on steam which is where i paid for the game if you refund within 14 days and have less than 2 hours played its instantly approved, but then i read if its within 7 days of buying the game you can refund the game for any reason... i bought this game 8 hours ago.. it better be refunded. it would be different if this was launch day, or launch week for that matter. or if ubisoft saw this happening to so many people and fixed it.. but only replies i have seen from ubisoft employees is "sorry, start a new game" im not joking when i say ill never buy another ubisoft game, each one i have had in the past has been riddled with stuff like this

i dont know what the error code was. if i knew i would lose all progress i would have taken note of it. i have tried the backup folder, disable cloud blah blah did nothing. i did submit a ticket but i honestly dont expect this to be resolved.. dont seem like anyone else had it resolved.. others have played all over again to have it happen again.. im not doing that. definition of idiot is doing the same thing expecting a different outcome

the game ran GREAT until it didnt. it was like i hit escape, and each time I would close it to get back to the game it would pop back up.. really odd.. as soon as I started the game I knew something was wrong cause it was forcing me to watch the little intro at the beginning, when normally it would go straight to the screen to continue the game
hopefully this post will help someone in the future. I did search but what I found was a thread with about 7 pages of people saying it happened to them and even on the last page there was no resolution.. so i was VERY upset. these days I dont have alot of money to throw around for games.. so being that I bit the bullet and spent $89 on this game only to have it screw me over hours after buying it, yea.. i was not happy
