Kensei side dash into light | Forums

This has been bothering me for a while. Every time I get hit by kensei side dash attack into top light I can’t block the top light even though I know it’s coming. Is it guaranteed? I played Kensei as well and if I remember correctly only Raider managed to block it.

Do you happen to be playing an assassin when it happens? I noticed that anytime I play an assassin, that second light attack seems guaranteed, even though I predicted the direction correctly. Reflex guard gives me so many problems even when I block correctly for absolutely no reason

Any character really. Not sure if it’s a console issue as usual. I played Kensei and tested myself as well. I landed it pretty much every character I played against.

its not guaranteed, I've been using kensei and I tend to go side dash heavy into top light and I think its just how quickly it comes out because I have been blocked form the top light many of times as well, try dodge after the side dash heavy.

I am a Kensei main and i can assure you the second lights after dash is not guaranteed at all.

You have to be fast but it is totally possible to block (i play on console).

The only one which is maybe kind of guaranteed (have to try) is when the lights come in the same way that the dash .. guard can't be active on the side she was already before the first hit :/

I couldn't play too much till next Tuesday but normally i'm playing very often

I usually play weekdays 6pm-8pm GMT then weekends its random but ill get about 4hrs on at some point
