Dominion is very situational. Sure you get good and bad teams with it being random but when you get teammates who click it is nice. Bad ones suck but if you loose it's one game and you leave the lobby to find better ones.

I always start by rushing to Minion zone. Clear it which gets me close to 1st feat unlocked. Then look at the map and see who is where. If my team has a 2v2 and a 1v2 going on I go to the 2v2 so we can end it take the zone then as they heal go back minions clear it out again and I should have 2nd feat unlocked. Sure the one guy getting outnumbered lost and we lost that zone but we control 2 zones and have a good lead. I will hover between the zone we have and minions going back and forth as needed. If I see my team is in a 3v4 fight while I'm in minions I will get the other zone just to put pressure on the other team to split up.

Recently I had a 1v1's in zone B at beachhead. Executed him then him 3 teammates came from C and I had a 3v1. Revenged twice and I took out 2 of them and died to the last one. My team didn't help and I didn't call for aid. They took zone C and we had A, so when someone showed up they killed the last one and we had all the zones. We won that game and with that group of randoms we won like 5 games in a row, never a deathball roaming we had a strategy.

I had another group of teammates who didn't get it. I was at high fort and we had 2 shugoki's and we quickly took C while I was at B killing minions. Unfortunately those 2 shugoki's never left C and when the enemy realized it the 4 of them when from A to B. The other guy and I were in constant 1v3's and 2v4's. We lost badly as we couldn't win with just holding 1 zone. As the 4 of us teamed up at C when breaking we got bombed and slaughtered. It was bad team strategy.

So it isn't always wise to rush to aid teammates and get in fights as it is controlling zones. It works for me with over a 1000 dominion matches and have a over 60% win rate. Tribute I'm just under 50% and haven't figured that one out yet.

I'm not saying that you're wrong, we all play the game how we like cause it's our money we spent to play it. But That logic, to me at least, seems to be very subjective. What if, in your moment of need, i'm currently engaged in another fight, or on the other side of the map? I might not be able to get to you in time. But regardless if i'm not there the second you need assistance then you'll refuse to assist me?

If i run to the minions at the start of the match, and suddenly there's a 3v4 going on, there's a chance that i still won't make it there in time if the fight is going that poorly. or if i run up and it turns out you didn't need my help at all? i could have kept clearing minions and been on my way to capturing the other point.

I'm just saying that it doesn't make sense to punish a player for not being at your side the very second you need help. often i find that by the time a player realizes they need help it's already too late. I'll get there and suddenly I'm alone because you've died and then I'm left in the grinder alone.
Yea I can tell you don't get it. I never keep a grudge past letting people deal with the consequences of not helping me. I've played the game since the beta so I have a good grasp of battle awareness using the tech of map, kill cams, enemy/friendly tabs ect. Not all the time but a lot of the time I know when a teammate screws me over for whatever reason. When the consequences of screwing me over come back to hunt them I will ignore their plea for help.

Example. at the beginning of a match on sanctuary bridge one person stayed behind to boost our home zone, another decided to go capture the enemy teams home zone....which left myself and another teammate to fight off 4 enemies at B zone. Well I left the booster to get slaughtered after I spawned.

Another game on Sanctuary bridge I had two teammates stay on homezone and only myself and another went to fight the first battle at b. Our teammates where hoping to play what I call chicken-little (its when you let your teammates wound the enemy so before they die so you can get the kill given you give enough distance for the revenge to cycle out). I let them get slaughtered for doing it.

Another example: On high fort zone A: I arrived to help my teammate with an enemy because I was near by after I got done killing one. Apparently they were having an "honorable" fight and I was interrupting. The enemy got revenge and took me out because my teammate refused to fight him with me. when I spawned after getting killed I saw two more enemies arrive at A and that "honorable" teammate was now calling for help....I ignored the call.

On river fort I was fighting two characters on B and got them both close to death so I called for reinforcements because I knew a guy nearby boosting C home zone. Well they killed me and in the kill feed no more than 15 feet away I could see the teammate booster just doing emots. He called for help and I answered but only to defend c zone again and kill the enemies...I would have preferred my teammate to die...which he did right before I arrived so the enemies were still as unhealthy as I left them.

another example: Booster on zone A in temple garden just sat back and watched his whole team die on be at the beginning of the game so he could play chicken little. Well my team killed off many of them but didn't execute them before we died so they got revived by the sole surviving enemy of the B battle. They Then took the fight to A. Their was a call for help that I didn't answer. This happened time and again this game so I messaged the person asking why he was boosting at the beginning of the game and he replied that he liked fighting multiple opponents and that I wouldn't understand. Well I quit the game and tried a new lobby but got the same one only on the other team of the booster. Of course the first thing I did with my Shugoki was head to A level and he was their and I beat the hell out of him. During the match another shugoki on my team started following me to A and we just started holding it down while our two other teammates killed everyone else as it appeared I was on a very good team. Well Me and this other Shugoki beat this guy so badly he refused to fight us alone. At the end of the match the boosters score was severely negative: I went 10/2. I wanted to be mean and send him a message of salt saying "I thought you liked fighting multiple opponents alone?" but I decided to be nice an leave him alone as I to hate fighting two shugokis and he was a skilled fighter just a horrible teammate.

WOW. I almost choked on my cereal reading this. You would genuinely rather sabotage your OWN teams chances of winning rather than help a guy that didn’t help you? Possibly the most childish and dumb thing I’ve ever heard. Do you also like to score own goals in soccer or partake in shooting yourself in the foot on ocassion?

Listen, I get it. Those examples you gave, Yep, I’d be annoyed my team mate didn’t help too, very annoyed.. You could try messaging him and offereing advice after the game (never usually goes well) but for gods sake don’t sabotage your own team out of spite.

In defending zone, if too many enemies coming in, fight a bit if I think i can manage and drag it on till help comes. If not, fight abit then run away, keep around the border to harass them.
U should be mindful of your allies positions as well as they should be. Sometimes, help cant come fast enough or they too are tied up.
With thats said, only one teammate is required at minion zone. Teamwork fails when there two or more teammates killing minions.
Playing assassins classes if I feel in over my head I have chosen to run. funny thing 2-3 players will give chase and it’s funny because some players are very persistent and I have taken a couple of players fill circle around the map sometimes 2. I’m not even mad when they finally catch up to me because I just kept them from capturing any zones or helping out any of their teammates in need. That’s always something to keep an eye out for if you flee.

Whose not helping? I've seen people just camp their own spawn waiting for the game to end. I find there are many ways to help my team and ignore pleas for help from someone who spilled their own milk. And yes everyone has had those games where your teammates are completely goofing off...those games I'll either quit or stand in a corner with my back facing them. I had one game were two were goofing off and me and the other fighter on the team just got done taking out their whole squad of four. My cofighter died at the end of the fight and I was going to revive him but sure enough the goof off players showed up and thought it would be funny if every time I tried to revive him they would hit me out of it. The guy who I tried to revive left the game. I had enough of that game and my "team." so I sat in the spawn and let my teammates get ganked over and over again. When the enemy finally found me for the last kill I threw a flask bomb down on myself....so yea at times I'll botch the whole operation if I feel like my "team" is worthless.
