Loving Far Cry 5 my second time around.

Ok, I played FC5 up to clearing John Seed's region to near 100%. Then I went to Faith's region.

I ended up being VERY disappointed in being pulled through the killing of Faith and clearing the zone of any enemies or challenge. I had held off on the final rescue in John's region since I (correctly) thought it would cap off the zone. But capping Faith's zone with no choice left a very beitter taste in my mouth. I had left myself with two empty zones.

So I restarted, being more careful in choosing missions and holding off on rescuing random civilians and doing side missions.

I just cleared Jacob's region and am holding off on the final Weapon's Cache to cap the zone.

And it's awesome! I can have John and Jacob's zones open to me to lay waste to every single Peggie I see. I just won't cap their zones until I've had my fill.

This time around, knowing what I know, it started off rough, but at least I can keep some Peggies around to just wail away on. I think I'll copy off my save game (PC) and finish it all up, then restore back to a Peggie rich environment to teach those Eden Gate wonks not to mess with my buddies!

This might be a nice mod, where you can delay the resistance meter:

Better to play carefully from the first time. First impression is very important. There will be no more first time walkthrough. Replaying the game also good, but not the same! Every time when I start big open world game.....when I feel that the game is good and the game is worth....I play carefully, trying fully immerse myself in the world of the game. And after the end of such game I feel like I've lived another life. One more life. Game is like - little life. No theatre, no movies can do this. Movie also can be very immersive........but not so much as good computer game. In movie we are passive, but in the game we are active. In movie we are passive witnesses watching what is happening. But in the game we act, ourselves. In the game we can live! The better game - the more we can feel this "life". The more we can live there. That's why Immersion is so important for the game. Battle for immersion - should be one the most important battles for developers!

Try going back to the island where the chapel is. You'll find peggies working there to get bliss out as if nothing happened....makes for a good shooting match if you need peggies to git!
