    Tips vs Centurion with Aramusha

I'll try to keep this as non negative as possible but I am biased as I hate this hero due to his stamina drain. I only play 3 heroes Orochi, Kensei (pre buff), and Aramusha. With Orochi old and new and Kensei I can handle him and open him up to take damage even when it is a turtle. I can fool him and with a mix up can beat him. With Aramusha I have a real hard time opening him up if he is good at blocking. The way other heroes are played they attack so countering is possible but when ever I face a Cent they turtle and fish for a parry then try to keep my stamina down. I have a real hard time opening up players. Vs lvl 3 bots I can beat him as he attacks which gives opportunity to punish. I play on xbox and only in 4s so I don't have 5 minutes to wear him down. How do others who main Aramusha open up the Cent?

~Try swapping guard right as you hit light attack. For whatever reason with aramusha he can do that. Which means to the opponents perspective it will look like your guard is on one side but suddenly your attack is coming from a different direction.

~If you're pretty comfortable with Mushu i'd suggest walking back while light attacking to whiff the light and gain access to your heavy finisher. Which you can deadly feint (deadly feint is delayable) into a different direction in hopes of landing an attack.

~If the Centurion is using feint into GB a lot feel free to throw raw heavies. They're 600ms. Which means unless you messed up your timing or he predicted you'd answer with a raw heavy he's going to eat the heavy. And from there i'd do another heavy in the same direction to get deadly feint going.

~If centurion is following up with a light after he hits you with a kick or a punch he's likely going to heavy after the light. You can buffer a blade blockade by holding the input down during being hit by a light. it should automatically catch his follow up heavy. Which gets you in.

~Remember that both side heavies and a deadly feinted side light guarantee a top light.

~Aramusha can spam side dodge. This lets you dodge through things like orochi's light light light combo. You won't have that situation with centurion. But it does mean your dodge is good enough to GB a whiffed kick/punch from him.

~Finally a tip non specific to Centurion. Learn to delay your light attacks as well as deadly feints. Both of these will make your attacks much harder to defend against.

Thanks, I'll try vs the bots in the arena first. I fought against 2 players last night who didn't initiate an attack after I stopped their range top attack. They just sat there and would just block or parry when I initiated anything. I hurt them but not enough to take them out before others came and then you get punched in the back of the head. 2v1 or 3v1 is always a challenge but vs certain heroes like Cent or Highlander I struggle when out numbered.

Don't usually worry about most other heroes. When I see Cents... ugh, Highlander big hitting heavies and unblockables, LB for his bombs and the impale from behind. My 3 foes I don't like seeing when the match up starts. With Highlander in a 2v1 I see the unblockable icon and when I'm not locked on his unblockable timing messes me up, it hits hard. Again thanks for the help!
