Two bugs I found with LivePhoto:
When I open photomode while the car rolls straight, the game always applies some steering angle and turns the front wheels (and it looks a bit like the rear lifts from braking, but I'm not sure). The turned wheels happen both when you open photomode while driving, and when you use the replay to ensure you pick a moment with zero steering input.
The second issue affects general lighting: The application of brightness correction is too strong. It seems the game only measures EV at the screen's centre and when it deems it too bright, it turns down all light. This turns down exposure too much when driving at low light/night and annoyingly it's applied in photomode, where the brightness slider can be useless in difficult light and at night because the game constantly turns brightness back down. I've seen a number of posts about low brightness at night, so I hope you review how the game handles exposure.
Zoom, tilt and focus settings should really be controlled by keys instead of these super clunky menu sliders. But this goes beyond bug filing now![]()
Sure, I tried to work around the issues and discarded some photos, but I took one snap with both problems:
As you can see brightness is adjusted to the background and it's dark on the car, but this was taken with the exposure slider at max. When I panned the camera down after saving this, the image turned a lot brighter by itself, but I couldn't find a nice composition that way. It also made me notice that the front wheel is turned to the right while I'm driving straight, which is hard to recognize here but when you look closely at the brake caliper, it's turned to the camera a bit. Later I saw this often much clearer when I wanted to take snaps during the day, unfortunately I didn't save any due to the bug. I have to correct myself: It did not happen every time I opened photomode while the car was rolling straight, but it still did most times. I'm sure it's a bug because it even appeared when I paused live replays with the steering neutral.
Thanks for your interest![]()
Thanks a lot for getting back to me with this. Yeah I can see what you mean about the lighting and I can see from the brake caliper the wheel isn't perfectly straight. I'll pass it along to the team to see if they can do anything about itOriginally Posted by KiroKai Go to original post![]()
