According to European law, Ubisoft is not allowed to take our money and then not offer any decent support. This is for the Phenom II CPU problem and the game just doesn't start.
They will not help us with this, there was no indication of SSE 4.1 needed, the requirements talk about a 3.6 ghz equivalent cpu, well that is the Phenom II.
I might have to take this up with EU law office, since Ubisoft does not want to offer genuine support to its customers. In fact they would rather censor our posts and act as if we are the damn pirates.
All the while the real pirates roam the seas without any ****ing issues. Its disgusting.
Idiots !!
First of all the issue with the season Pass/Gold Edition weapons are disappearing is been looked in to .
More likely will be resolved in next patch
Second
Phenom CPUs with out SSE 4.1, 4.2 are under minimum requirements !
There for they not supported by the game, and Ubisoft have right to deny any support for them.
And don't tell the BS that the pirated game running on Phenom CPUs !!
Next time read game requirements !
How about game requirements and supported peripherals they claim to support but don’t? There is a very real issue going on with that right now.Originally Posted by KmarkoPL Go to original post
They will fix this missing items bug. The “if or when” nonsense in the support reply is just lawyer-speak. But I can tell you there is a issue with Ubi claiming to support certain gamepads, only to decline to actually fix a problem that many users are reporting.
They point blank are denying to support hardware which they claimed were supported devices prior to purchase.
Does that change your perspective on Ubisoft’s policy on support? It did for me.
It says clearly in steam : Partial Controller Support
That does not mean all controllers will work !
I have read people using controllers witch only appear to be genuine, but they are fake !
So get real controller, or play using K+M !!
Also I hardly have any issues with Ubisoft games, apart from small bugs, witch are not game braking for me.
Even don't have any issues with missing items after last patch, all my Deluxe content is available with out any problem,
Appears you think I'm some half-wit who doesn't look into every viable solution before making a complaint. Here, direct from Ubisoft as written in their support ticket response:Originally Posted by KmarkoPL Go to original post
Should you wish to use a controller, we advise using controllers that are supported for the game: https://support.ubi.com/en-US/faqs/0...Far-Cry-5-FC5/
As you will see if you bother to read it, xinput controllers are fully supported devices. The device in question is an xinput controller licensed for manufacture by Microsoft itself. They know the model, they know the specs, they know it the problem persists with a number of users, some of whom have OEM controllers. Go look around. The fact remains, they are blatantly not supporting a device they claim will be supported. You ought to consider that before you go refuting complaints on behalf of the company without having all of the facts at your disposal. Think before you type.
KmarkoPL is clearly a troll, so I wouldn't waste too much time and energy on him. Based on the game's requirements released to the public the Phenom II is, in fact, an equivalent CPU. Ubisoft made no attempts to warn PC owners about the SSE 4.xx requirement. Had they said "... or equivalent SSE 4.x CPU", then they would have a case, but they didn't. And from what I understand, they refused to refund the purchase cost of the game to those with whom they deceived, so that's the smoking gun for the Lawsuit. A Judge may possibly know the Make, Model, and speed of their home computer's CPU, but it's almost a certainty that they wouldn't know which instruction sets it supports, so they're likely to side with the victims. In any case it wouldn't be difficult to win the case.

Do you see here Phenom CPU ? Cause I Don't !!
Also The CPU for minimum FX-6300 was been released October 2012 what is long after Phenom CPUs witch been released February 2009, That should be indication for you the game will not support it .
Only idiot would expect to run game on almost 10 year old CPU !!
As for refunding the game, any one who got it the game direct from Ubisoft or Steam, expecting the game will run on Phenom CPUs, can refund with out any problem.
