DLC Weapons and the irritation you’ve added by taking them away.
After purchasing Far Cry 5 for $80+ (US) I have to voice disappointment. I read the small print and knew what my purchase included. I went from PSN to PC to XBox to Best Buy, etc. and searched for the best price and any added perks. In the end I went with PSN. I bought it and was content. It shipped and I played. I love the gunplay mechanics, but the game design is very flawed (trying to be nice). When I first started playing and there were 7-10 pistols but only 4 machine guns, you telegraphed that you were going to release weapons and fill out the listings with community events like in AC:O. Sadly you also made the game look disjointed and made us question the quality of the title. Then more design things like forcing night on me until i met John Seed at the church. Forced story captures while surrounded by the best and brightest in the 8-Bit. There are countless Youtube videos showing how your design/narrative team dropped the ball while STILL making one of the best sandbox first person shooters around. “Square works for everything.”? What is that even? Turning off the hud for immersive playthroughs on twitch are a joke as the person can’t enter the car they are hiding behind without releasing the breaks first then throwing their weapons to the floor swapping them for inferior weapons. It’s pretty bad. There was a post from a few disabled gamers on Reddit asking for the ability to change the buttons, but this doesn’t seem a priority for you. Why am I posting for the first time to your forums? Because I paid $80+ dollars of my hard earned money and, with NOT the last patch, but the one BEFORE the last patch, you seem to believe it’s ok to take away digital things I paid for. Should I ask you or PSN for my cash back? Don’t worry, I’ll give it back when you give me the game items i paid for. I like your game. It’s no Watch Dogs 2 or AC:O, but it’s new for me and it’s still pretty cool. I hear “we’re working on it, sorry for your inconvenience.”, but you are a vendor and I am your client and $10-30 of the thing you showed me in countless ads in many stores and on television are not there. A new patch and still nothing. You didn’t sell me a day and night cycle, if it breaks, I have no recourse but to wait until you fix it. Whereas the things in your ad you told me were mine if I paid you for them, that seems like it’s “mine” and as a company that is so community based, you’d have safeguards to not take them away from me.

Unformal Note: I await the “Gold Edition Buyer’s Care Package” of NOT just a few random in game resources. (your supporting community deserve a skin or four for letting you massively mess this up and not class action suiting you because you broke our purchases though other retailers in your game.) Oh as well as my Deluxe Edition Buyer’s Care Package. They are not the same. I am supporting you and your company, your pizza crunch nights, your late night working Dev dinners, etc. please respond as many corporations have in the past by making the community happy as opposed to saying, “Hey we fixed it. There you go.”.
