4 Special Operations available in one year, meaning every 3 months till year 2 ends. It might look something like this: (this is not 100% accurate)

Special Operation 2 July.(or August)
Special Operation 3 October (or November)
Special Operation 4 January (or April)



That's how it would look like, unless they decide to release more updates.

My guess is the plan is to release them in July, October and January. Then if they decide to have year three content, the first one will be next April, exactly 3 months after Special Ops 4.

You'll get 4 free updates in year 2 say Ubisoft. That makes a release every 3 months. It's also 4 more updates than anyone was predicting.

As you said, they already have your money, so they don't need to give you any free updates.

I'm sorry you're frustrated by the wait! The update will be coming during summer. In terms of the actual content, the dev Q&A did allude to so some changes that should be coming in Special Operation 2. ICYMI:

Actually, we are planning a revamp of our Prestige economy for Special Operation 2. So stay tuned.
