I also fear this. I'm afraid they will completely butcher him and remove his niche. In that case I'd prefer him the way he is.

I mean I wouldn't call pk's rework a dud. It did a lot of good things. It just also happened to receive flak because one of the better changes happened to have been a capability it had at launch that got axed for whatever reason. Not to say pk couldn't receive a little more polish. But she get a better "rework" compared to nobushi. So if anything we should be using nobushi in that sentence.

Anyway. I'll have to disagree about him being left as is. I'd rather they try a rework and fail in some regard rather than leave him as is. crashing charge mix up is as disgusting as if not worse than valks current bs with her full block stance nonsense.

Crashing charge is part of his OOS punish so just removing it would really hurt him I think. Maybe there is a better way to stop people from abusing it? Maybe make the startup distance longer and increase the stamina cost a little bit.

It's not just apart of his OOS mix up. it's a big part of his kit in general. You dodge? he stops sprinting and GB's. You back dodge? zone. You roll? leaping heavy. you stand your ground in attempts to read what he does? crashing charge. It has an answer for everything and it's awful. I'm not asking for it to be removed. but it needs a big smack from the nerf hammer. It's far too abusable in a 1v1 situation.

One of the worst things that could happen to this game is a class that has a 500ms UB from neutral and the most cancerous out-of-lock guessing game receiving a buff.

Give him more and various stuff if you so desire, but remove or nerf his current tools in exchange.
