No sound for first couple of seconds when driving. | Forums

I don't know if this is the right place to mention bugs, but I don't know where else to. As it says in the title. So far it has returned after a coupl of seconds each time it has happened, but it has happened more than 2/3 of the time.

Thanks for letting us know. Does it seem to happen on any specific vehicles? Does it happen in all vehicles regardless of whether it's a boat, plane, or car? Do you have any video to provide?

I had it happen while I was test driving numerous vehicles. I specifically remember the FD Rx7. It was silent for a few seconds before I heard anything. Same goes for the drag spec Viper and the Mclaren F1.

What kind of sound setup are you using? Are you using headphones or any kind of external device that might take a second to turn on?

It happens to me all the time when I'm switching vehicles or unpausing the game, it happent with headphones and speaker

It happens most to me when I first spawn into a vehicle. Switching to other vehicles in freeroam is mostly fine. My sound setup is just uncompressed stereo audio to my tv via HDMI. It also happens in the middle of a session, not just when the game first loads.
