Far Cry 5 Code of Conduct-Map Stealing

Far Cry 5 Code of Conduct
Map Stealing: copying the map files of another User and republish them under his/her own Account.
•First offense: Warning & content reset
•Multiple offenses: Temporary suspension & content reset

Mapmakers are angry- theyr made maps are stolen and uploaded by another players and are on top rated maps…..
So UBI please do something, delete stolen maps from ARCADE or better solution is, remove an opportunity to download maps.
Or ad a opportunity to Arcade editor to lock my made map, and loced maps have not possibility to download.

I completely agree with you! The maps should be locked so no one else can download it.

Are you getting money or any thing else, for the created maps ? NO !

I don't see any problem here.

My opinion as a certified lawyer is as follows. All fan made maps that have been uploaded are UBI property. But the UBI also made additional rules by Far Cry 5 Code of Conduct-Map Stealing.
First offense: Warning & content reset
•Multiple offenses: Temporary suspension & content reset

Therefore, the UBI must comply with the rules and delete stolen maps from ARCADE, and punish stealers

I have not touched the map editor myself but I thought maps already was tied to it's creators guess not?
I can understand the frustration of someone else taking credit for someone elses work that sucks.
It should not matter if they are free or not as a poster above said,it's seems ok stealing I guess? Stealing is still stealing. Also I guess the creator probably put some sweat into their maps more or less.

I do recall seeing somewhere in the map loading sequence a credit for both the original map maker/creator and last map editor.
